Outriders Worldslayer is the first paid-for expansion, introducing plenty of new items, features and more to the game. While most of this aims at the end game of Outriders, there is a campaign too, which sees you explore a backstory to the end game feature along with a little narrative regarding it. This article aims to explain how long Outriders Worldslayer is, exploring all the facets of the game in the process.
How long is Outriders Worldslayer?¶
Here is a lot to consider in the Outriders Worldslayer expansion. A short campaign is mandatory to play before you get to the new end game, and there is the end game on top of it alongside grinding through the new Apocalypse tiers. Each of these things requires an entirely different amount of time to work through.
The campaign itself is rather short. For those wondering how long the campaign is in Outriders Worldslayer, you should expect it to take around 3-4 hours. This entirely depends on the strength of your gear going into the campaign, alongside your Apocalypse tier, how often you can modify any gear upgrades you get and more. You can potentially do it even quicker if you drop the Apocalypse tier as low as possible with an incredibly strong build already and speed run the campaign. It is bad news if you’re someone looking for a decent campaign on top of the base price of the expansion.
Then, we have the main end game feature of the expansion Tarya Gratar. Typically, these runs can last onwards of an hour but can be done quicker dependiong on your build or your party’s boss killing speed and map clearing speeds. This is going to be the focal point of your content for the end game as you try to farm Apocalypse and legendary gear to keep your gear updated as you climb the Apocalypse tiers.
The final part of the grind is the Apocalypse tiers. If you intend to climb the full 40 tiers of the game, you are looking at spending around 70+ hours on character. We have put around 40 hours into a new Pyromancer for Worldslayer, and it seems to have taken us that time to climb to Apocalypse tier 21. If our estimations are correct, we will need another 40+ hours to complete the Apocalypse gear grind on that one character.
The actual grind to Apoc tier 40 may be done quicker, presuming you have an efficient build, party and if you already Challenge Tier 15 before the expansion came out. This, of course, doesn’t take into account any efficient apocalypse levelling routes or compositions you may be using, rather than casually clearing the content.
