Key Attacks

Slither : The Glacial Agnaktor moves itself down to the ground and slithers forward at great speed.

Body Slam : The Glacial Agnaktor turns on its side and looks towards the hunter and then throws itself towards the hunter.

Peck Charge : The Glacial Agnaktor slams its beak into the ground, moving forward with each peck.

Ice Beam : The Glacial Agnaktor will launch a beam of ice towards the hunter. This may be followed by a sweeping horizontal beam..

Dig : The Glacial Agnaktor burrows underground and starts to ‘swim’ through the floor and ceiling, attacking with its entire body. It can also emerge aggressively, similar to its smaller Uroktor brethren.

Recommended Strategy

The Glacial Agnaktor has two clear ‘phases’ - ground and burrow. During its ground phase you’re recommended to move close and attack its front feet or tail. Dodge after attack, but try and stay close.

Give the Glacial Agnaktor any distance and you’re asking for an Ice Beam to the face. When the Glacial Agnaktor burrows, move. Move, move, move. The beast is fast and will attack quickly.

The key difference between the Glacial and regular Agnaktor is that the Glacial Agnaktor’s armour is replenished each time it burrows, making the battle a potential slog. However its breast is unprotected or you can break the armour with the right equipment (eg. Fire-element) and skills (eg. Minds Eye).
