Description¶
Arzuros is a large, blue grizzled bear that’s a little too fond of honey; basically a more menacing version of Winnie the Pooh. It’s one the first large monsters that a hunter will encounter during their career and the first one they must capture alive.

Key Attacks¶
Running Charge - The Arzuros will go down on all fours and run towards the hunter before skidding to a halt.
180 Degree Claw - The Arzuros will spin around and claw at a hunter attacking it from behind.
Bear Hug - alongside his fast claw swipes the Arzuros may also hold both arms back and move forward to hug the player, causing constant damage.
Claw Combo - The Arzuros will launch forward, swinging its claws four or even five times.
Backward Charge (High Rank) - The Arzuros will go on all fours and charge backwards at a hunter behind it.
Recommended Strategy¶
The Arzuros’ belly is armoured so the best place to attack it is its side or flank. On low ranks you can do this only really fearing a few attacks but on high rank fights the backward shuffle is an attack you need to watch out for.
Simply focus on dealing a few attacks to the Arzuros before dodging to either side to avoid his attack and then react successfully against his follow-up, with the main dangers being the Arzuros’ charge-based attacks. The Arzuros isn’t a particularly hard foe as long as you focus on his weak spots.
