Key Attacks¶
Claw Stomp : The Zinogre turns to face the hunter and then stomps forward two paces.
Shoulder Barge : The Zinogre turns on its side, looking towards the hunter, before slammings its entire body towards them.
Thunder Ball : The Zinogre uses its tail to ‘throw’ an orb of elecricity in front of itself that moves at a diagonal arc.
Thunder : When at full charge the Zinogre will howl to the sky, summoning thunder strikes in a wide radius around its body.
Recommended Strategy¶
When tackling the Zinogre it’s actually a very good idea to hug him as near to his back as possible, dealing damage hard and fast.
Obviously you’ll have to watch out for his claws flying around but as long as you focus on moving ‘away’ from his back every few hits you should do well to avoid the Zinogre’s sudden charges and swipes.
By bearing down on the Zinogre you also minimize the risk of the beast reaching full charge more often, though you’ll still need to keep an eye on it going enraged as that is when the thunder starts, and when that happens you’ll need to adopt a far more evasive stance for a while.
