Key Attacks

Body Slam : The Baleful Gigginox rears up onto its legs and then slams down where it was stood.

Spit : The Baleful Gigginox pulls its head back and then launches several balls of electricity towards the hunter in a trident fashion. Can cause paralysis.

Ceiling Crawl : The Baleful Gigginox clings to the ceiling. From here it will either spit electricity down or ‘launch’ itself back to the floor.

Charge : The Baleful Gigginox moves forward, swinging its head and using its body to damage the hunter.

Egg Lay : The Baleful Gigginox will lay Electricity Bombs, it’s recommended that you move away from its tail if you see this coming.

Electric Explosion : The Baleful Giggi will shiver with sparks and explode with electricity, hurting any hunter nearby.

Pounce : If the Baleful ’nox crackles with blue electricity then it is about to lunge at a hunter in an attempt to pin them.

Recommended Strategy

The Baleful Gigginox may not create poison but it is still a formidable foe with plenty of close, proximity attacks to catch snuggling hunters off guard.

You want to try and attack the Giggi from the side of its face in the space in-between its wing. Its electrical attacks are big and brash, especially its spit attack, so it’s more important than ever to avoid standing in front of it.

It’s important to approach the Baleful Gigginox as a genuinly different creature due to its range of different moves. Its pounce or explosion is a drastic change from the Gigginox’s more clearcut body slams. Avoid its front, and watch out for eggs or explosions in particular.
