Deserted Island Area 1¶

Description¶

The first area you enter coming here from Moga Village, Area 1 is a small cliffside viewpoint that contains very little of interest and can only fit the smaller large monsters, such as a Great Jaggi.

• Kelbi can be found hopping around here.

Deserted Island Area 2¶

Description¶

A medium sized area that homes a number of passive creatures. This area is a great source of basic materials, such as Herbs, Ivy, Blue Mushrooms, Honey, Snakebee Larva and Raw Meat.

Points of Interest¶

• Aptonoth normally pass through here
• Altaroth move between the waterfall and northern wall to harvest mushrooms and honey.

Deserted Island Area 3¶

Description¶

A crevice with two small glades on either side, this zone is a favourite of the Arzuros and can house Rathian at a push. The Felyne’s habit of hanging out here can make fighting creatures here a big of a chore, and it’s recommended to deal with any feline presence before turning attentions to larger creatures.

Points of Interest¶

• Despite the cramped size, this is a favourite arena of Rathian-like creatures
• Altaroth can sometimes be found on the western wall, harvesting mushrooms.
• Kelbi are often found galloping around in the western clearing.
