Volcano Area 4¶

Description¶

A medium area with a patch of water. You’ll often find that Rathalos come down here during a fight, particularly because Herbivores occasionally laze around in the area.

Points of Interest¶

• This is the only area in the Volcano with a fishing spot.

Volcano Area 5¶

Description¶

An area bordered by lava, larger creatures will often move between here, Area 5, 9 and 6 when patrolling. Rhenoplos can also be found in this area.

Points of Interest¶

• The light yellow ground lining the lava here will cause constant damage if you stand on top of it.
• The large pillars here are destructible.

Volcano Area 6¶

Description¶

A favourite of the Uragaan, Area 6 is the only hot zone without the extra dangers of lava marking its edges.

Points of Interest¶

• When fighting the Uragaan in this area he will often burrow and emerge on top of the large ‘platform’ before rolling off in an attack. Don’t assume he’s burrowing to move area!
