I Am Setsuna

Jarrod Garripoli

Snecters can be annoying enemies because not only do their bite attacks inflict Momentum Lock, but it can also inflict either Paralysis (Burning) or Freezing (Frosty) ailments. In addition to this, they can use Feed to devour another ally to boost all of their stats, which will last until they use Soul Breath. Note that the Spritnite-Eaten variant has a different breath attack called Death Breath after feeding, which may kill your characters outright.

The Dinotaurus enemies are one of the strongest normal monsters, and will use Meteo upon bringing their health to zero (right).

Dinotaurus are probably the strongest normal enemies in the game and have a few powerful moves. They can use Ultimate Combo, which is just their other three attacks (Tornado Tail, Crushing Bite and Crystal Horn) all together. Lastly, whenever you defeat them by depleting all of their HP, they will resort to using Meteo as a last attack before they die, dealing damage to all party members.

Once a decade, to maintain peace, a sacrifice was made to a fiend on the island. This custom had been effective until recently when the fiend grew violent before the next sacrifice was due. To calm the fiend down, a new sacrifice was offered; Setsuna - chosen because of her powers of enchantment. She must leave with her safeguards to the farthest lands where the sacrifice will be made.

With a battle system based off the legendary JRPG Chrono Trigger, I Am Setsuna is undoubtedly a masterpiece of story-telling and nostalgia. Our guide will cover the following:
