Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Ash Kecha Wacha

By
Vincent Lau

Ash Kecha Wacha lives in similar habitats with Kecha Wacha, but has evolved to become master of fire. Instead of watery spit, Ash Kecha Wacha’s saliva is easily ignited and will cause Fireblight. Ash Kecha Wacha distinguishes itself from its regular cousin with dull gray, and tough, hide.

**Area** **Start** **Roam** **Rest**
Ancestral Steppe 3 2, 4, 8 9
Primal Forest 5 1, 2, 4 7

Attacks

Ash Kecha Wacha will take to the skies far more often than Kecha Wacha, and you might be tempted to bring Flash Bombs, but it is a very hard boss to pin down. Unlike Kecha Wacha, who uses its ears as a mask only when enraged, Ash Kecha Wacha switches fluidly between being masked and exposing its face, and it’s near-impossible to predict when will happen. As a result, switching between Sonic Bombs and Flash Bombs can easily become a headache.

Also, Ash Kecha Wacha’s front limbs, which is essentially half its body, will deflect any weapons below white and purple sharpness. Bring along Mind’s Eye and/or your sharpest weapon.

Spitting Flutter Jump: Ash Kecha Wacha can combo a jumping glide into a spit, and then a mini-charge. This is Ash Kecha Wacha’s most dangerous attack.

Saliva on Fire: Remember when Kecha Wacha would spit saliva from its long, elephant-like nose? Well, Ash Kecha Wacha will do that too, but this time the saliva globs are on fire.

Ash Kecha Wacha shares all breakable parts with Kecha Wacha.
