How can you make your Kinsect evolution-ready to the right Kinsect path? Every Kinsect evolution has a required number of points in each stat, plus points total. Feeding a Kinsect Nectar, regardless of how it alters the stats, will give stat points. So if you feed the Kinsect the wrong kinds of Nectar, you can still max out the stat points gauge. I will reiterate, you can permanently mess up your Insect Glaive and will have to start over.
Pick your points carefully to make sure that your Kinsect meets the minimum requirements, which will be noted when viewing equipment at the forge. Note that once your Kinsect evolves, the minimum stamina, speed, and power will jump up, and after that, the stat is locked. It can grow, but it cannot decrease! So, for example, you could pour points into speed, and evolve your Kinsect to a speedy Kinsect path. Then the minimum speed meets the speed that you grew. Now you can feed your Kinsect any kind of Nectar that will decrease speed, but the speed will not decrease. This is why ordering the way you grow stats is incredibly important.
Kinsects also have their own skills they can attach to your Insect Glaive. The most remarkable is Buff Extend , but this Kinsect is also equally remarkably hard to obtain. Buff Extend will extend the time buffs are in effect by another 30 seconds. To obtain this Kinsect, pour points into power, then stamina, and then speed, so that stats are not subtracted too superfluously, and keep upgrading along the power Kinsect path .
All Kinsects are great though, and if you choose your Kinsect because it is the coolest-looking Kinsect around, that’s just as awesome!
