A Whole New Draggie

  • Location - Hooligan Road (Yokai World)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2435 XP, Earth Ring
You will be able to find Dragon Lord by using Mirapo by the front gate of Yokai World and teleporting to Lord Gate, then going backwards and dropping off the bridge via the first break in the railing. Dragon Lord offers to give you something to unlock Draggie’s true potential, but you’ll have to fight him first. He will come with two Draggies, who know earth-elemental techniques (including the Lord himself) and will also do physical attacks. Concentrate on Dragon Lord first, then finish off the Draggies after. He will give you the Dragon Orb after the battle, which you can use to fuse with Draggie to get a Dragon Lord yourself.

An Offered Sword

  • Location - Fortune Hospital (Downtown)
  • Req - Day; Watch Rank S
  • Reward - 2422 XP, Vampiric Fangs
An old lady told you about some historically significant gravestones at Shoten Temple. Before heading there, you’re going to need an item from the Yokai World. Specifically, you need to go to Hooligan Road and battle the white Reuknights until you get a Betrayer’s Blade to drop. Once you do, you can head to the gravestone ( at night ) behind the temple to offer the blade, which will start a fight with Zerberker and two Sushiyamas. They are strong physically, with Zerberker being the strongest, so take him out first. After the battle, Zerberker will join you and the request will end.

Flower for the Shrine

  • Location - Gourd Pond Museum (Breezy Hills)
  • Req - Day; Watch Rank S
  • Reward - 2076 XP, Dingy Scale
The receptionist at Gourd Pond Museum said there’s a shrine behind the waterfall on Mt. Wildwood. Before you head there, you will want to go to the bridge in Yokai World and look for any white Pinkipoos. Keep fighting them until you get a Forever Flower . With that done, go to the Abandoned Tunnel and take the minecart on the right side to the left, then head to the upper left corner to find a lever. Pull that to the right and find the mine cart in the north to ride to a section on the right you couldn’t reach before.

Head north and unlock the Rank A Watch Lock, entering Abandoned Tunnel East. Ride the first cart, then pull the upper lever so it’s to the right, then ride the cart next to it, which should go straight north. Follow this path until you come to the northeast corner, where you’ll find an item on the ground ( Payn Oil ). Bring this back to where you saw a southern cart and you’ll use it on the lever next to it. Make sure the lever is facing to the left and ride the cart to find a Yokai standing in front of a Rank S Watch Lock.

Defeat Signiton (the item it drops is used for something else) and unlock the Lock. Exit the tunnel and follow the path to a cave behind the waterfall. On the north end is a shrine where you can offer the Forever Flower to fight a Dromp. He will come with two Drizzle, who should be taken out first, since their elemental moves can do some nice damage. Finish off Dromp after those two are gone and you’ll get his Yokai medal, as well as finish the request.

Insulting the Egg

  • Location - Liar Mountain (Yokai World)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2516 XP, Frost Charm
Chilhuahua can be found in the northwest corner of Liar Mountain and after he insults Whisper a little bit, talk to him again to begin the battle. It goes without saying that Chilhuahua and the two Pupsicles will use a lot of ice-based skills in the fight, so be prepared with that. As usual, defeat Chilhuahua first, then go after the other two Yokai. Your spoils for this battle is a Snowstorm Cloak, which can be fused with a Pupsicle to get a Chilhuahua yourself.

Powder of Youth

  • Location - Hungry Pass (Yokai World)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2424 XP, Wind Ring
You’ll find Everfore in the little area of land just below the fork bridge connecting the two halves of Hungry Pass. She promises you give Whisper some anti-aging stuff if you defeat her in battle. You will want to keep an eye out for the enemy inspirits in this battle, as the Grumples will reduce your defense, so quickly purify the afflicted Yokai. Concentrate on Everfore first, then you can go after the other two. For winning the battle, you’ll get the Ageless Powder (Grumples + Ageless Powder will get you Everfore).

Rank S Challenge

  • Location - Timers & More (Blossom Heights)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2074 XP, Dancing Star (x3)
This is the final test and will have you going after three Yokai in the Yokai World. Specifically, you want to defeat Impass on Liar Mountain, Appak on Hooligan Road and Timidevil in Hungry Pass. You can find Timidevil in the southcentral part of the bottom half of Hungry Pass; drop down in the first section of Entry Hall to get to Hungry Pass (where the Rank S Watch Lock is located). To get to Liar Mountain, you’ll have to fall off in the second area of Entry Hall; Impass will be in the southwest corner. As before, you will need to drop off the bridge in the final area to get to Hooligan Road, where you’ll find Appak towards the northwest corner (the path before the northwesternmost one). Once you’ve defeated all three, return to Goodsight to get the final Watch upgrade.

All three Yokai for the Rank S Challenge are found in the various sections of Yokai World.

Sleepless Salaryman

  • Location - Shade Road (Shopper’s Row)
  • Req - Watch Rank S
  • Reward - 3028 XP, Sleepillow
A co-worker has went into Nocturne Hospital and has not come out yet, so the guy wants your help. Head inside the hospital and get to the third floor that’s accessible from the second floor vine on the southern end. You should noticed a NPC that is standing next to a Yokai here. Talk to Insomni and say “No” to start the fight. Be prepared to purify often because of inspirits. After the fight is over, return to the office worker outside to finish.

Snowy Accessory

  • Location - Hungry Pass (Yokai World)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2718 XP, Ice Ring
You can find Blizzaria right where you can jump down (not the Rank S Watch Lock) in the first section of Entry Hall. Talk to her and she’ll agree to give you the hair clip if you defeat her in battle. During the battle, it’s best to concentrate on her first, before going after the two Frostinas. They will all likely use their spells, so anyone who is weak to ice shouldn’t be used. Once you win the battle, she’ll hand over the Glacial Clip (fuse Frostina and the Glacial Clip to get Blizzaria).

Take Out Tengu!

  • Location - Eddie’s House (Breezy Hills)
  • Req - Day; Watch Rank S
  • Reward - 2312 XP, Tengu Fan
Eddie’s mom recommended going on a hike in Breezy Hills. In order to complete this request, you will need an item ( Typhoon Fan ) that drops from Greesel, a Yokai that can only be found on the first two floors of Infinite Inferno. Once you get it, go back to Breezy Hills and go to the Rugged Path, which is north of Eddie’s house. Go to the end of the northern path and offer the Typhoon Fan to fight a Tengu. Go after Tengu first, then clean up the two Tengloom afterwards. Not only do you finish the request, but you also get Tengu on your team!

The Bold Beelzebold!

  • Location - Liar Mountain (Yokai World)
  • Req - None
  • Reward - 2485 XP, Blaze Charm
You will find Beelzebold towards the center of the area, but to get to him, you’ll need to cross a bunch of bridges. He offers to fight you, so take him up on the challenge. This can definitely be a challenging battle, as not only does Beelzebold know Incinerate, but his physical attack is nothing to scoff at, either. He’s accompanied by two Timidevils, who are also quite powerful. After the battle, you’ll get a Shard of Evil, used to fuse with a Timidevil to get a Beelzebold.

The Legendary Kyubi

  • Location - Elementary School roof (Uptown)
  • Req - Night; Complete An Offered Sword, Take Out Tengu!, and Flower for the Shrine; Watch Rank S
  • Reward - 2202 XP, Beefy Bell
Kyubi says that you’ve grown quite powerful and wants to battle with you. He will be waiting for you back at the shrine on Mt. Wildwood on the night of the summer festival, and to bring him a present. The thing that Kyubi wants is Golden Tofu , which drops from Mama Aura in the Infinite Inferno. You can find her on the third and fourth floors.

Give Kyubi the Golden Tofu (left) and you’ll have to battle him (right) before he will join you.

Once you have the item, go to Mt. Wildwood and you should see a Mirapo to the right of the offering box at the shrine. Use this to go back to the summer festival in the past, then check out the offering box, saying yes to get into a fight with Kyubi (only if you have the Golden Tofu). He is accompanied by two Multimutts, who will be more physical than Kyubi, who likes to light you on fire with Incinerate. When the battle is over, Kyubi will be yours and the request will be over.
