In the latter case, they’re commonly found in the same area where Grizzly Bears roam (northwest of Wallace Station).

67. Canada Goose¶
These aquaphilic birds can be found near most major sources of water, including the Dakota River, the Lannahechee River and the Kamassa River. One of the better places to hunt them is on The Heartlands. Just be patient and watch the skies for a tell-tale V-shaped formation of flying geese.
68. Ferruginous Hawk¶
An uncommon scavenger, you can find these birds of prey drawn to the corpses of animals. A fine place to hunt them is the wide expanses of The Heartlands, where many birds fly about. Be patient and keep an eye to the sky and shoot (or study) any large birds you see flying and you should bring one of these down before too long. Also be sure to check on the corpses of other game you’ve hunted (most likely including other birds, which The Heartlands is rife with) while in The Heartlands, as they could be drawn to those, too.
You can also find success using similar tactics to hunt them in the Bluewater Marsh area of the Lemoyne region, while in West Elizabeth search for them in Black Bone Forest and near the Riggs Station. In the Grizzlies East area of Ambarino you’ll find them roosting on cliffs rather than in the skies or near corpses.
