Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

All Rogue Trader Companions

By
Craig Robinson

CRPGS and companions are a large factor in the game design, offering you, the player character, characters with their own skills, aesthetics, personalities, and storylines to accompany you on your journey. Owlcat has a solid history of this with the Pathfinder games, and that experience is coming to Rogue Trader. For the most part, players can have a party of six, which means you can have five companions in your squad. That’s a lot of choices to bring. Thankfully, there are quite a few companions you’ll stumble upon throughout the game. Here are all the Companions in Rogue Trader, and what you can expect from them.

List of all Rogue Trader Companions

So, in total, there are 13 companions in Rogue Trader. Each Companion has its own background origin, alongside the starting class, aka a Doctrine. Players can get these companions as part of their crew over a period of time, with many at the start of the game, and more to come later on in-game. To help you decide what characters you want to bring as your party’s companions, we have created a table featuring the companions’ names, origins, and starting classes to help you build your perfect party and somewhat decide on your player character.

Note that some of the companions have exclusive origins that your main character cannot start as, such as Pascal and the Aeldari companions. Yes, Xeno lovers, you can find friends there if you want to.

As you can see, there are thirteen companions in Rogue Trader, three of which are related to your conviction. For the most part, you get many of these companions early on, allowing you to level and mold them essentially however you see fit. The base class from them is often scripted, thanks to their core playstyle for their characters being set in stone.
