Costing $5,100 to construct, the Student Lounge is the central hub of all your student’s leisure activities at Two Point Campus. Very soon after starting a game, you will need to build one of these, and as with other rooms, the temptation may well be to build it as small as possible to fulfill the criteria and save some cash at the same time.
Once again however it is a false economy as the Student Lounge is a room that will need to expand quickly as your demanding students will constantly be asking for new things to be placed in there and improvements to be made.
You can ignore them of course, but if you want to raise the level of your Campus as quickly as possible,e then Student happiness is a vital barometer to keep a close eye on.
There is a huge array of items you can add to a Student Lounge to distract them from the real task at hand.

The Student Lounge is essential to enable your students to form friendships and bonds with each other, which ultimately keeps them happy. They may even start dating and requesting areas where they can slope off for a little alone time.
There are plenty of items that encourage students to get and play together and you should definitely look to be adding these into your Student Lounges in order to maximize your success in this area.
How big should I build my Student Lounge?¶
There is very little point in starting out with your lounge this small. You would only want to do this if your students are demanding further lounges and you are completely out of place. The Student Lounge is one of the rooms with the most items that you can add in to it so you will run out of room super-fast unless you are the kind of faculty leader who continually says no to the students.
As you can see, space can quickly evaporate if you build your lounge too small at the start.
Student Lounge Equipment¶
From tables, sofas, dartboards, and arcade machines - there is even an original Sega Crazy Taxi arcade machine that you can unlock and place in there - ah the joys of having the same Publisher. Either way, a small room is not going to cut it here.
Make sure you adorn the walls with posters, place little bins and a hand sanitizer in there too, because, well teenagers are dirty creatures aren’t they?
Save your Student Lounge as a template¶
You will likely be creating quite a number of Student Lounges as your Campus expands as you offer more courses and your student headcount rises, demand for a place for your kids to chill out and socialize will grow quickly, so a good tip is to make sure you save your plan as a template you can easily recreate any number of them with the minimum of fuss.
