The Musicality course in Two Point Campus is unlocked alongside the Upper Etching Campus later on in the game, but can then be used on any campus you play after that.
As far as some of the later courses in the game goes, it is not an especially expensive course to run elsewhere. The caveat here is that at Upper Etching you need to run a Musicality course of a decent standard in order to bring in any money at all as you will not be receiving funding other than from the success of your students and their grades.
Musicality Requirements¶
Musicality requires a teacher with Musicality as a qualification and initially, you will need a Recording Studio and Computer Lab. Somewhat surprisingly the Recording Studio is actually remarkably cheap, coming in at under $10k making it a viable course to run on many campuses. At Upper Etching the storyline dictates that money is at an absolute premium, however, but if you are planning on running it on any of your other campuses it can be a very viable option for an extra course to run alongside a big earner.
- Recording Studio
- Lecture Theatre
- Computer Lab
The Average Tuition Fee for Musicality is $9000 per student putting in the higher to mid-range of courses to operate. Even though the Computer Lab you need is one of the more expensive rooms, it will not need significant upgrades at the beginning of the course, so you really can keep your costs down and even make a profit early on by running Musicality at your campus.
The students will also be completing assessments and will need the following rooms in order to pass and score extra marks and thus raise the standard of your campus, and general happiness around the place.
- Recording Studio
- Library
- Computer Lab
Students will request items such as the Trumborgan, Pianiotrome, Vocal Booth, and other such musical items that don’t exist in the real world. A lot of these items will cost in excess of $10k which is by no means cheap but the cost in Kudosh of a few of them may well be what runs you into a problem if they needed to complete student assignments. Overall though we think Musicality is a course well worth running at any campus or even Sandbox mode.
