Climb the vines and then head south and climb a ledge to reach a small tunnel with a Specific inside. Continue north to another tunnel, with an Hourglass , and then climb the vines and look south to spot another chest with Jet Black Feather x5 . Now return north and zone.

Head north to a set of vines that you need to climb and then turn right and enter the tunnel for a Red Lavender . Head south and climb another set of vines and enter the tunnel directly across the way for a Creamy Beef Bowl (Small) and then exit and grab the 4000 Gald .

Boss: Maxwell (2) [Milla]¶

Maxwell mostly uses Soul Absorption to steal your TP while dealing no HP damage. This would be deadly, but due to his spamming it rather than doing any attacks it just ends up being a long fight of hitting him with your fist or sword or whatever.

Hopefully you’ve equipped the skill Limit Fever so that your skills cost 0 during Over Limit, which allows you to get a good combo of skills on him and deal a chunk of damage every once in a while despite having no TP. If Maxwell doesn’t spam Soul Absorption; don’t worry–he’s still a push over and not much of a threat.

Maxwell will likely shift elements a lot, so constantly check what his weakness is by holding R1 . When he’s at low HP he’ll start to use Meteor Storm , which can prove fatal after a few goes if you haven’t a chance to heal. Use items if needed for HP or TP to get off some healing spells or use skills that trigger Auto Aid.

You can Item Steal an Elemental Cape from Maxwell , which is pretty damn good.
