Orda Palace¶

Head straight inside for a scene about the Lotus Ring and then watch the skits Orda Palace . Afterwards; take the Lotus Ring to the 2F and approach the door for another scene and fight.

Head through the now open door into a circular room and enter the door to the northwest and work counter clockwise through the rooms getting a: Holy Bottle, Sharp Pincers x6, Fruit n’ Cheese (Small), Dark Cape, Red Sage, Geode x7, and an Earth Cap .

Now take either of the eastern doors to a staircase and then check the northern doorway for an Aifread’s Treasure with the Party Hat on the outside. Now, approach the doorway by the Lotus Ring for another event fight and then enter.

Once again; start with the northwest room and move counter clockwise to collect the Pearl x10, Finesse Ring, Jet Black Feather x8, Treat, Melange Gel, Rune Circlet, Pineapple Gel, Lemon Gel, and All-Divide .

Take either east door and get the 3500 Gald by the south one and then approach the door for another fight. Save your game and then enter the door for a scene.

Boss: Nachtigal¶

Nachtigal isn’t fast, but he’s an incredible tank that can cast right through your attacks and then surprise you with decent AOEs. His most deadly attacks are actually his simple attacks such as Massacre Arc and Destruction, since he uses them a lot and they eat up a lot of your HP and leave you vulnerable to his AOEs.

Besides that, most of Nachtigal’s attacks are simple lunges, swipes, and bashes with his lance that don’t pose much of a threat, but there are a few attacks to watch out for. When he lunges toward you from afar, avoid this attack rather than blocking, since it is unblockable and can one shot when enveloped in dark aura.

Also, when he begins to cast, watch out for the two spells Air Pressure and Dark Visitor. In particular, Dark Visitor can instant KO a member on occassion. In general, stay away from Nachtigal when his sword is enveloped in dark aura, as this has increased his attack power and made him extremely dangerous.

Additionally, if you don’t keep your party HP up you may find that his Mystic Arte will wipe out your party in one hit. Keep away from him when he goes into Overlimit. If you want to try and steal an item with Leia you will get a Amethyst .

Drop: Black Onyx

After the scene; watch the skit Nachtigal’s Death and then use the warp behind the throne. Head south and at the top of the steps check the left wall to spot an Aifread’s Treasure for the Skill Tome: “Absolute Defense” and then open the chest in the north for a Blue Rosemary .

With nothing left on this floor to do; take the Lotus Ring in the west. After another scene, watch the skit A Cold Shadow and then return to the 1F and head back to Fennmont.
