One Piece Odyssey

One Piece Odyssey: Dust Ruins Puzzle

By
Craig Robinson

The third chapter of One Piece Odyssey features a labyrinth of puzzles, where the players need to power a central machine in the Observatory room. However, to do so, players will need to collect two Sigils. Each Sigil is available for collection in both, the corridor and the lightroom. Both Sigils will require you to solve puzzles before you can get to them in each room. Our One Piece Odyssey Dust Ruins Puzzle walkthrough will teach you how to get the sigils in the Dust Ruins in Chapter 3.

Here’s a Dust Ruin puzzle walkthrough, featuring the mirror and corridor room sigils.

Before we go any further, we will presume you’ve yet to reach this room. To do so, you need to grab a crab from the bottom of the Mausoleum in the memory of the Alabasta kingdom. Head back there using Lin’s dream machine mystery place, and then use the road signs to head to the crab taxi in the Great Desert region. From there, you’ll find the crab is too big, and you will need to get the smaller one from the Mausoleum. You may remember there’s a smiling crab at the bottom of the ravine while you’re venturing through the Mausoleum. Go into the Mausoleum, head to the 3BF area, climb down the vines, and drop into the sandy pit below. Take care of the enemies, then you can get the crab in the cube and return to Waford.

Once that’s done, head back to the Dust Ruins, and you can cross the sand and get into the Dust Ruin puzzle area.

Dust Ruin Mirror Room Puzzle

Here is a map and a key to assist with the order you rotate the mirrors for the lights.

Players must first solve the early-stage puzzles in the Mirror Room to complete the Dust Room Puzzle correctly. The Mirror Room is the one down the stairs from the Observation Room.

The trick in this room is to rotate all the mirror pedestals with buttons on them. You will need to rotate them all, connecting the beams of lights with other mirrors until they turn off. We have created a map diagram of the direction and order the lights will flow in to assist you.

There are three mirror sections you need to turn off. The first is near the door you enter from, there’s one in the bottom middle and then one at the north east end. The first two will turn off normally. However, the one at the end cannot, thanks to a mirror panel buried under the sand. You should guide the mirror’s light to that mirror under the sand, and then leave the room.

Once you leave the room, head to the sands of time statue with a button in the Observation Room. Interact with it, then you will flip the room upside down. Note, because all three rooms have flipped, you now need to head up the stairs to complete the puzzle.

Entering the room up the stairs will result in you heading into the flipped version of the Mirror Room. From here, look for the beams of light on the ceiling. Follow it using a stone pathway, then use Luffy or Usopp’s aiming mode, then hit the switch on the light above. It will rotate it, then open the door you need to enter. Now that’s done, you may return to the Observation Room, and flip the room again.

When you flip the rooms, go down the stairs to get back to the mirror room. Now that’s done, your next task is to head into the room at the northeast corner of the mirror room. You will find a Sigil you can interact with. However, doing so opens a door with a red dragon you have to fight. Once it is defeated, you will claim the Sigil. Now the next one is in the Corridor Room.

Corridor Room Puzzle

Leave the mirror room, head into the Observation Room, then go up the stairs and enter the Corridor room. Here there’s nothing special: walk the entire room, then get the voice interaction about the Sigil on the roof. Return to the Observation Room, flip it using the room flip button, then head downstairs.

As you arrive at the Flipped Corridor room, you must walk across the sand dunes. Avoid the enemies swimming through the sand, all the way around, then enter the broken fence and get on the stone platform. Follow the platform around and climb to the middle. You will eventually find an area on top of the stone area, with a sand pool in the middle. Adio will pick it up in a cut scene if you do everything right. With that done, you will have completed the One Piece Odyssey Dust Ruin puzzle!
