As with any JRPG, you are going to encounter quests away from the main story, and One Piece Odyssey is no exception. The Side Stories in this game are shown on the map with a blue marker, but once you start them, you will notice there is no tracking at all. This can make things pretty difficult with some Side Stories. This page will focus on the Night Exterminator Side Story in Alabasta.
Where to Start Night Exterminator in One Piece Odyssey¶

While you spend a lot of time in Alabasta during Chapter 2, you won’t find this Side Story at that point in the game. It isn’t until Chapter 3 that you briefly return to Alabasta during the main story, although there is plenty of side content to do there at that time. If you head back to the Sandy Oasis in the Great Sandy Desert, you will find a NPC that will give you this side story. Mitt wants to go see her father, but the service that goes to his place has been suspended, because the 
Deluck Brothers are active at night. So, she wants you to defeat them and clear the way for her.
Where to Find the Deluck Brothers in One Piece Odyssey¶
Despite the dialog, the Deluck Brothers are actually a type of enemy found in the Great Sandy Desert. However, they only appear at night, so if it happens to be daytime in your game when you log the quest, you won’t be finding the enemies. To turn it night, go to the nearby camp and have a party, where you will be presented with a new option to rest until a certain period of time. In this case, choose to rest until night, as that is when you’ll be able to find the Deluck Brothers.

Head southeast from the Oasis and you will eventually see some very large, blue scorpions. These are the Deluck Brothers, so trigger battles with them. Similar to the other enemies in the area, the Deluck Brothers are all Technique-types, so it’s best to leave the Power-type characters out until you’re done. They all have the same skills as the others and each battle should net you four every time. That means you will need to get in battles three times to get the necessary kills for this side story.
Report back to Mitt after defeating the required number of enemies to finish the side story.
