The Roost is one of the Public Works which can be built in your town.

You can build it after donating at least 50 items to the museum and opening the museum shop; speak to Blathers seven days after the museum shop opens and The Roost Café will be added to the list of Public Works.

You can meet other characters from your town in The Roost and buy a cup of coffee each day. You’ll find the following characters in The Roost at certain times of the day:

After buying six cups of coffee you can ask for a job as a barista. If you serve customers their favourite drink you will get a piece of furniture from the Café Series and Brewster will give you coffee beans of increasing quality.
