This is more of a series of puzzles set outside of the text chamber environment (think Chapters 5 and 6), so we’ll once again break it down into the sections of the game where we reckon you’re may struggle (no point insulting your intelligence by hand-holding you through the easy bits is there)?
Once you’re standing in front of your new nemesis, look for the slanted wall getting covered in white gel and the portion of uncovered wall just up ahead. Plant a portal up here and then when the white Conversion Gel lands by your feet, set your next portal underneath you, taking you out of harm’s way.
Start to run away and wait until you’re asked to come back again. Do so and stand over the edge of the pit. Now, whilst you can jump in now for the ‘Pit Boss’ Achievement/Trophy’, we strongly recommend that you simply sit still until he’s finished trying to entice you to jump (it had us laughing away unashamedly).
When you reach the walkway with the lone Experimental Cube trundling along the walkway, plant a portal up on the left-hand wall (a bit higher up than the actual walkway itself) and then the next portal on the wall to your immediate left. Jump through the portal to land on the walkway and the second part of this chapter.
