There are two sets of very cunningly hidden images contained within specific audio files in Portal 2. The first set can be located in Chapter 2, Chamber 6 where you can pick up a radio from the junk and take it to the rat mans room for the ‘Final Transmission’ Achievement/Trophy. However… if you record the loud audio noise of the actual transmission and play it back on a special piece of computer software (such as MMSSTV), it can turn the sound file into an image and, wouldn’t you know it? Valve have created the sound file so it displays a particular image (see above). But it doesn’t end there, oh no…
If you make your way to the last chamber of Chapter 3 with the developer commentary option set to ON (this is available upon completion of the main game), instead of finishing the chamber as normal, use a light bridge to access the hidden room in the upper left-hand corner of the room (opposite the security camera). Run up the stairs and into the secret lair. There’s a commentary note that, once activated, plays three separate modem-like sounds. Each one is a different image, detailing the marketing strategies employed by Valve (see above)!
