Objective¶

Vault of Glass¶

For this mission you need to enter the Vault of Glass. There are Praetorians and Captains fighting it out, you need to move through the Vex and Fallen. Enter the Trial of Kabr and jump down to the Templar’s Well where you’ll find numerous Fallen. There are Stealth Vandals sniping on the outer ledges and plenty of Dregs/Shanks down below. Once you jump down you’ll need to destroy 6 Oracles before they explode (about 20 seconds) one at a time or you’ll lose the fight. It sounds simple until you remember Vandals and Dregs spawn quickly and get in your way as you try to destroy the Oracles. Sniping them seems to be the best option, Supers will take them out easily as well. A Defender Titan may want to use Ward of Dawn near the center to have a safety spot to run through while taking out the Oracles.

With the Oracles taken care of you’ll need to defeat the rest of the Wolves. Scorch Captains emerge at this point and they hit hard. You’ll need to take out four of them, the first is best downed with a Super so you can steal the Scorch Cannon. Remember to shoot and hold the trigger to build the explosion up for massive damage, it’s the fastest way to clear the additional Captains you’ll need to kill. Take your time and work from behind the hide cover at the back of the platform and you’ll be fine.

Completion: Return to Petra in the Reef.
