No Rest for the Wicked

Healing Item Resource Locations

By
Echo Apsey

No Rest For The Wicked approaches healing items in a unique way compared to similar action RPGs. Instead of simply finding the dishes you need, you will have to craft them most of the time by finding ingredients and resources throughout the world.

These can be hard to find, especially if you are looking for a specific item and haven’t found where it is yourself. Below, you can find all of the individual resources and where or how to get them. In addition, you may also find dishes out in the wild in chests or be rewarded with them for killing enemies or completing quests.

Healing Item Resources And Where To Find Them

The list of healing items and their locations are as follows:

Resource Location
Artemisia Herb Plants scattered across the regions
Horseshoe Crab Shorelines in The Shallows
Raw Carp Fishing
Raw Trout Fishing
Mushroom Mushroom plants in Mariner’s Keep and Orban Glades
Roughcut Meat Rats and mice in dank areas and buildings
Apple Scattered throughout the world in chests and on plants
Firebrand Berries Scattered throughout the world in chests and on plants

In addition to finding these resources out in the wild, you can also buy almost everything from Gordon in Sacrament. Gordon will return to the town once you complete The Innkeeper’s Husband quest which you can find a guide to here. The quest is one of the first ones you can get as soon as you visit Sacrament early on.

Gordon’s shop can be found in the south of Sacrament.

As with other resources, enemies, bosses, and more, you can revisit old areas and locations after some time to grab new resources and items once they have respawned. Besides killing enemies to earn money and buying the resources, this will be the main way you get them and it will require a good bit of grinding consistently.

Throughout early access, Moon Studios will likely add additional resources and items, alongside new modes and locations. As these get added we will be sure to update this guide, alongside our breakdown of rebuilding Sacrament.
