Tales of Arise

All Tales of Arise Carry Over Bonuses

By
Ben Chard

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is the expansion to Tales of Arise, set one year after the events of Dahna and Rena’s merging into one planet. As such, the game expects many players to have finished the original campaign before playing Beyond the Dawn (this is a direct sequel after all). Thankfully, for those that put in the graft during that adventure, you’ll receive some carry over bonuses when you start a New Game in Beyond the Dawn.

There are multiple bonuses you can carry over to Beyond the Dawn.

Tales of Arise Completion Bonuses

As mentioned above, there are certain bonuses you will gain for performing certain tasks, and the table below will list all of them before you can find more information on what those are.

Condition Reward
Additional Story (Beyond the Dawn) Start Bonus 60,000 Gald, 1000 SP, 30 CP
Main Story Play Data Bonus 10,000 Gald, 500 SP, 10 CP
Main Story Completion Bonus 20,000 Gald, 800 SP, 30 CP
Main Story All Sub-Quests Completed Bonus 20,000 Gald, 800 SP, 30 CP
Main Story All Characters Level 100 Bonus Special Weapon Bonus (gold variants)

Additional Story Start Bonus

There’s not much to say about this one, it does exactly as it says on the tin. For just starting Beyond the Dawn for the first time, you’ll get a nice hefty bonus of 60,000 Gald, 1000 SP, and 30 CP. Seeing as your levels are reset to 65 and your skills alongside it, this is a great helping hand.

Main Story Play Data Bonus

Another simple bonus that most players will have when they start Beyond the Dawn for the first time. Simply having a save file from Tales of Arise will allow you to gain this bonus. You’ll be banking another 10,000 Gald, 500 SP, and 10 CP on top of the bonus from starting the DLC.

Main Story Completion Bonus

Now you get to the stage where you need to have done a lot of work in Tales of Arise for more bonuses. This first condition will require you to play through the entirety of the original adventure and save your game when prompted. Beyond the Dawn will detect that file and hand over 20,000 Gald, 800 SP, and 30 CP.

Main Story All Sub-Quests Completed Bonus

The next condition is one that only completionists will reap the rewards from. Tales of Arise has a LOT of Sub-Quests to complete, but those who persevere and see them all to completion will get this next condition reward. For that, you’ll obtain 20,000 Gald, 800 SP, and 30 SP.

Main Story All Characters Level 100 Bonus

This final condition is one that only the die-hard fans will see, and most likely only those of you who have the Platinum Trophy from the Tales of Arise will have all of your characters at Level 100. The reward for this condition is also different to the rest, there is no Gald, SP, or CP to be had here. Instead, you’ll begin the game with the Golden Sincleaver Blade for Alphen and the Noble Rose for Shionne. These are golden variants of the starting weapons for the two heroes, with slightly increased stats. You’ll most likely replace them early on with the crafted weapons, but they make for fine skins nonetheless.
