Finish an Era with a Village which has 500 Prosperity and 30 Danger¶
First of all, let’s talk danger. We need to transmute an animal to have a danger stat, and this means we’ll need to equip some Giants with some ambassadors. Both the Forest and Swamp Giants need one ambassador each for their relevant danger aspects. So the first job is to create a Desert Village and satisfy its first Project - give the ambassadors to the forest and Swamp Giants.
Next step, start a Forest Village. Why? Boars. The Boar generates five danger simply by being in the world, but will generate a bonus danger on each tile for every extra wealth this Boar has.
So place Chickens and use the Forest Giant’s Hunt Aspect to develop them to Boars (remember to use Potent Aspects by Fertilizing the ground first!). Now bring in the Swamp Giant. A potent Predator Aspect adds 1 Wealth and 1 Danger to this Boar, but thanks to the creature’s symbiosis this actually becomes 1 Wealth and 2 Danger!
With this in mind it’s possible to have one boar spreading 25 danger all on its own - amazing. Place two of these creatures and you’ll be generating a lot of danger, but also a lot of resources on their own (more than 50).
Just remember not to place too many boars, too much danger and humans will assassinate the poor things. Provide just enough and over time you’ll be able to add more danger to the mix.
Next focus on a typical slow build up of the village, expanding its borders slowly and ensuring you place plenty of high yeild resources. If you’re struggling then set up a second village if only for the bonus ambassadors. You could upgrade the Ocean Giant’s Animal ability and place ever better Boars!
