Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Crafting Weapons to Sell

By

How to Make Money in Bannerlord: Crafting

The crafting system in Bannerlord is somewhat limited when compared with other RPGs, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t lucrative. Although it focuses only on the production of weapons, smithing in Bannerlord allows you to craft them from relatively cheap materials, and then sell them for a much greater profit. The most basic item that you will need to begin crafting is hardwood. This can be acquired from most settlements, although some, especially those near forested regions, will sell more than others. In addition to hardwood you will need iron ore, which can also be found in most major settlements. These basic items can be combined to create other necessary ingredients such as crude iron, wrought iron, and iron ingots. You will begin with basic smithing ability, but as you craft your skill will improve. Even the most basic weapons can be sold for a profit once crafted.

(1 of 3) You can refine basic materials to create rarer ones. Your ability to refine will improve as you level the smithing ability.
