Detailed Location

You can find this Side Quest in Jirandai in the Untamed Scarps region of the Dry Steppes. Head across the Zip Line to the eastern part of town where you’ll find Sorga. Speak to her to find out that her son was mutilated by spiders in the Blistered Barrens. Naturally, she wants revenge and has asked you to exterminate the Spider Queen in an act of vengeance.

Take the northeastern exit, head all the way northeast and kill a bunch of spiders until you fill-up the red bar. This will draw out the Spider Queen who can be found just south of the Ancient’s Lament dungeon.

Fortunately, the Spider Queen is an elite enemy and not the terrifying Broodmother Boss, so it shouldn’t cause you too many problems. It has the Summoner, Poison Enchanted, and Plaguebearer modifiers, so focus all your wrath onto the Spider Queen itself, and not the adds it summons. Other than that, stay out of the poison pools, and you should be fine. Once it’s been defeated, pick up its heart, and head back to Sorga in Jirandai to complete the quest.

The blood of her slain children has drawn out the Spider Queen. Sorga tasked me with slaying her and retrieving her heart.
