Detailed Location

First things first, clear The Onyx Watchtower Stronghold in the Dry Steppes to find this Side Quest to the west of the area. In the west is Nizaar who was captured by the bandits, and he asks you to find the key to free him.

From the Stronghold, follow the path south into the center of the large blue circle where you’ll find the bandits Nizaar was talking about. Defeat them, and one of them should drop the Gibbet Key. Pick up the key and make your way back to Nizaar in the Stronghold.

After you unlock the cage, Nizaar will ask for a healing potion to heal his wounds, then he’ll need a weapon to act upon his vengeance on Borza, the man who put him and his people here. This will give you four options to choose from: A Sword and Shield, a Bow, a Mace, and a Greatsword. It doesn’t matter too much what you pick here, but he prefers either the Mace or the Sword and Shield. If you want to make your life easier, choose the other two weapons…for reasons. Either way, select a weapon for Nizaar, and head to Borza’s Hideout which is situated southwest of the Stronghold.

Borza’s Hideout is a side quest dungeon where you’ll need to find him. At the first intersection, follow the path north until it dips to the south which is where you’ll find your target. After Nizaar has a quick conversation with Borza, it appears you’ve been duped, and he’s with Borza. You know what to do to traitors, so do it!

This is a relatively easy battle, Borza is the main threat while the guards and Nizaar shouldn’t last too long. The main threat Borza has is his slam attack which will stun you for a few seconds, so make sure you dodge out of the way when he lifts his mace. Other than that, he is Poison Enchanted and may leave behind some poison puddles on the floor.

When they’re all defeated, the quest will immediately finish, and you’ll get your reward.

In-Game Description

I’ve found a prisoner of the bandits held in the Onyx Watchtower. He has asked me to retrieve the key to unlock his gibbet from the bandits outside.
I’ve freed Nizaar, but it looks as if the time in that gibbet has not been kind to him.
He asked me to give him a healing potion for his wounds.
Nizaar wants vengeance on Borza, the man who put him in the gibbet. First however, he needs a weapon to fight with.
Nizaar and I now head for Borza’s Hideout to confront the man who imprisoned him.
