Description
Diablo 4 Lost Archive Walkthrough
These cold, metal halls of demons fail to send shivers down your spine, either because you’re a druid in some shapeshift from, Barb jacked on something or a Necro and a Rogue who are already cold as ice. As you enter the halls, winding corridors and small rooms filled with Fallen, Goatmen and other servants of hell greet you with their weapons, offering a perfect chance to juice up on a good old Elixir of Demon Slaying to ramp your damage up. Be aware some undead enemies begin to spawn here, with some being Elite, so your Demon Slaying Flask won’t work against them. Instead, you may consider another flask to be more effective, depending on your build, such as a Precision Elixir, Crushing Elixir, or an Elixir of Cold Resistance, depending on what level of elixir tier you have access to.
The first task at hand is to path the winding corridors, looking for the Demonic Vanguard. These are mere elites with a special name, marked on the minimap with a skull icon, which are often found early across the fairly straightforward pathing, with another towards the end of the first half of the dungeon near the locked door, which opens as you finish the objective.
In the second half of the dungeon, you have to find two items to place on a pedestal to engage a boss. The two pedestals are in the bottom right of the second half of the dungeon, with two pathways that lead to it, each filled with enemies in each of the rooms and side rooms. The same is said for the one top the top left pedestal item, with multiple pathways and enemies. Once you have an item, place them at the altar spots to summon the final boss.
The final boss is a big Fallen Shaman, which uses cold magic. It will also summon in other Fallen and Goatmen throughout the fight to aid it in battle.
- For further assistance on map layout, check out the map layout with approximate objective spawn locations. This dungeon is certainly one that benefits from a group clearing out each of the pathways for maximum mob XP gain, but, it’s also a good dungeon solo if you can head for the objectives and clear the dungeon fast for Glyph XP gains.
