You’ll acquire $30,000 for completing this mission.

How To Free Kanbu

Head to Keni’s Casino and he’ll inform you that a Yakuza, Kanbu, is currently being held by the police and wants you to free him as he’s a valuable member. However, before you can even get started, head over to the Police Station in Torrington and steal a Police Car. Follow the waypoint to Newport and park the car in 8-Balls Garage to rig it with a bomb.

(1 of 3) Take the Police Car from the Torrington Police Station

After the bomb has been set up, return to the Police Station where you acquired the vehicle and drive up the underground path to reach the back end of the building where you’ll need to park the car. Activate the Bomb by pressing Left on the D-Pad, then move a safe distance away.

Once the explosion has gone off, there’s a nice large hole for Kanbu to escape from. Take another nearby Police Car drive outside, then switch over to a normal vehicle before following the waypoint back to Newport and use the Pay “n” Spray to lose the wanted level. Finally, follow the waypoint to the Dojo in Bedford Point and wait for Kanbu to enter the building to bring the mission to a close.
