Firefighter

By
Shane Williams

This Page is a walkthrough on the Firefighter Side Mission in Grand Theft Auto III. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to finding and putting out the fires.

Steal a Firetruck and then press up on the D-PAD to begin the mission.

How to begin the Firefighter mission

To begin the firefighter missions you’ll need to find and commander a Firetruck. They can be found at fire Stations in the following locations, Harwood, Portland, Belleville Park, Staunton Island and Francis International Airport, Shoreside Vale. After you’ve found one, press up on the D-Pad to begin.

(1 of 2) Head to the marked location on the map

Head to the marked location on the map (left), then press L1/LB to put out the fire. (right)

How to complete Firefighter Missions

Your objective is to go to the pink squares on the map as fast as you can, so make use of your sirenas by pressing in the left stick or by just ramming through the traffic. Upon arrival, hold L1/LB to spray water onto the fire and once it’s extinguished you’ll gain your reward and the next fire location will show up. Other than cash you’ll be able to have Flamethrowers spawn at your Safehouses after you’ve put out 20 Fires in each island.
