Introduction

Lifeline in Peril is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that can be initiated in Chapter 2, which takes place in the Grasslands region.

How to Start / Where to Find

The quest becomes available towards the end of Chapter 2, after obtaining a Chocobo. Players can start the quest by talking to Fritz, the mayor of Kalm, who can be found in the main square of Kalm.

Mission Overview:

Fritz requests the player to investigate a mercenary named Kyrie, who is attempting to repair the mako pipeline leading into Kalm. The quest involves assisting Kyrie in repairing the pipeline and ensuring the safety of the area.

Objectives:

1. Head to the Maintenance Warehouse
2. Gather Parts
3. Repair the Mako Pipeline
4. Report to the Mayor

Additional Information

• Head south from Kalm to reach the Maintenance Warehouse, where Kyrie is attempting to repair the mako pipeline.
• Kyrie will ask the player to gather parts to fix the pipe. Locations to search for the parts will be marked on the map with green icons.
• Search the marked areas to find Slabs of Rusted Sheet Metal and Corroded Nails.
• Once all the parts are collected, return to Kyrie and give them to her.
• Follow Kyrie to the breakage in the mako pipeline and defeat any enemies encountered before and after the repair.
• After completing the repair, fast travel back to Kalm and speak to Fritz to complete the Side Quest.
