Equipment is important in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Stole Time, since you have a number of different Lives to outfit. You’ll receive some equipment as you rank up the Lives, as well as purchase more from various vendors. However, if you wish to get the best equipment, especially the best weapons/tools, you’re going to need to craft them. You can find various Legendary Recipes in Ginormosia, where they are hidden in its open world. This page will go over the locations of each Legendary Recipe that you can find in Ginormosia, as well as list the ingredients needed for each one.

All of the Legendary Recipes you can find will be on a little bookstand-type pedestal and be glowing a slight bit. You can also get all of them as soon as you have access to Ginormosia, except for one that requires you to get an item in Chapter 7 of the main story first.

Legendary Bow - Bow of Time¶

The recipe for the legendary bow, the Bow of Time, is located in the West Dryridge Desert region, which is the starting area in Ginormosia. From the tower in the region, head straight south and go to the mesa at the southern point of the map. The recipe will be right out in the open, near the northwestern side of the mesa.

Legendary Needle - Needle of Time¶

To find the recipe for the legendary needle, the Needle of Time, head on over to the East Dryridge region. In the northeastern corner, there is a patch of grassy area and that is where you’ll find it. It’s not a big area, either, so you won’t be wandering around trying to locate the pedestal.

Legendary Pickaxe - Pickaxe of Time¶

You’ll be journeying to the South Greatgut Plains area of Ginormosia for the legendary pickaxe, the Pickaxe of Time. If you head southwest of the tower here, to the coastline, you should find an entrance to a cave, called Great Nayvel Cave. Enter the cave and explore it thoroughly to find the recipe inside.

Legendary Hoe - Hoe of Time¶

Thankfully, you should be able to find this one pretty easily, with it being located in the Viridia Plateau area. Along the northern border of the region, you should see a small farm area with some crops. This is pretty much the only area in Ginormosia that has crops you can farm. Visit this place and you’ll see the recipe on that little farm there.

Legendary Frying Pan - Frying Pan of Time¶

For the Frying Pan of Time, the legendary cooking utensil, head to East Greatgut Plains. There is a big forested area on the eastern side of this zone, with a gap in the middle of it. The recipe will be on a pedestal in that little gap.

Legendary Greatsword - Greatsword of Time¶

While the rest of the recipes can be gotten whenever, the Greatsword of Time will require an item you gain as part of the story in Chapter 7. In West Greatgut Plains, you will see a large castle (Fort Gardhart) that has a barrier around it. No matter what you do during the course of the game, you won’t be able to destroy this barrier. After obtaining the Crow’s Feather, you can head over to the fort and finally head inside. Once you’ve entered it, fight your way through to the second floor and on the one side will be the recipe.

Legendary Shield - Shield of Time¶

This is another recipe in West Greatgut Plains, but it’s much easier to get, as it’s not locked behind story progression. Head northwest from Fort Gardhart and you will see a hilly area, with some fishing spots on it. The recipe will be on that hilly area.

Legendary Axe - Axe of Time¶

You will find the Axe of Time in Pettlewing Woods, but you’ll have to go through a small dungeon to reach it. Towards the northeastern end of the region, you will come to the Pettlewing Forest dungeon. Head inside and fight your way to the other exit, where you’ll encounter a similar Lost Woods-style part. If you go the wrong way here, you’ll return to the beginning, so you’ll have to find the correct exit. Look at the statue in the middle of each clearing and take the exit it’s pointing at. If done correctly, you’ll find Glehd Shrine and the recipe will be right behind it.

Legendary Staff - Staff of Time¶

North of the previous one is the Shroomhaven region, where you’ll find the Staff of Time. On the southern side of the region is a narrow path between two massive forests that you cannot traverse. Go through that passage and then to the west a tiny bit to find the recipe. This area also has a small beach and is right along the border with Pettlewing Woods.

Legendary Saw - Saw of Time¶

Wingtip Valley is where you’ll be heading for the recipe that contains the Saw of Time. You won’t have to travel too far to get the recipe, either, as it’s pretty much just north of the tower there.

Legendary Sword - Sword of Time¶

West of Wingtip Valley is the Moltana Wastes region, home of the recipe for the Sword of Time. For the recipe, you’ll want to stick to the northern edge, where a tiny strip of grassy area will lead you straight to the pedestal. Since this is a tiny strip of land, it’s pretty hard to miss the recipe.

Legendary Brush - Brush of Time¶

The legendary brush, the Brush of Time, is found in the Scorchrock Mountain region, which is just west of Moltana Wastes. On the northern side of the region, there is a small lake-like area with a bunch of fishing spots. The recipe will be just southwest of that pond/lake.

Legendary Hammer - Hammer of Time¶

The Hammer of Time is located in the Crickneck Canyon region. Just northwest of the tower there will be a small patch of grassy area, with a few tiny ponds intended for fishing. The recipe will also be found in that small, grassy area.

Legendary Flask - Flask of Time¶

For the legendary flask, the Flask of Time, head towards the northwestern region, Drakeseye Valley. You should see a large lake here, with a big island in the middle of it, and some rivers running off of it. To the west of it will be a mountainous section, that is also just south of the tower in this region. The flask recipe will be there.

Legendary Feast Recipe¶

Another recipe that is found inside of a dungeon, this time in the Drakesnout Range region. Specifically, you’ll need to visit Nostruul Cave, on the western side of the southern beach in the area. Before you go, make sure either you or one of your Miner Buddies have 200 Mining stat. That’s because you’ll need to destroy some boulders inside before you get access to the room with the recipe.

Legendary Rod - Rod of Time¶

You’ll find the legendary rod, the Rod of Time, in the Fangshore Isles region of Ginormosia. This is just east of the Drakesnout Range area, on the western side of the map. On the southern end of the area is a cave, called Wyrm Maw Cave, so head inside and explore all of the rooms to find the recipe.

As already mentioned, while you can get the majority of the recipes as soon as you get free reign of Ginormosia, you won’t be able to craft anything until late in the game. Not only do the items recommend a higher crafting score, but a good portion of the items come from difficult sources.
