Ginormosia is a large place, consisting of numerous regions, all of which are obscured by the fog of war. In order to dispel the fog of war and reveal the map underneath - a necessary precursor to properly exploring each region - you’ll need to find that region’s tower. In addition, these towers have other effects, like providing hints about points of interest and allowing you to change the surrounding area’s rank, potentially increasing the density of lumber, fish, ore, vegetables and treasure while also increasing the spawn rate of area challenges and increasing the levels of enemies. This page will help you find every tower in Ginormosia in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.

Page Breakdown

(1 of 3) Find the tower in each region,

Towers in Ginormosia

Near the start of Chapter 2 you’ll end up teleported to Ginormosia, an open world sandbox you can explore with greater freedom than the main quest dungeons found in the Past and Present maps. The main draw of Ginormosia is that it’s unguided, free exploration -if you want to explore, kill monsters, hunt down Mimics, solve shrine puzzles, cut down trees, mine ore or farm, you can do it. You can even sequence break the main questline by doing this if you’re willing to grind long enough and explore far enough - you can get access to higher-tier materials sooner on Ginormosia than in the main story, and some materials and monster drops may even be easier to farm here. On top of all that you can find new Strangelings that can’t be found anywhere else - in fact, most of the game’s Strangelings can be found exclusively in Ginormosia!

In short, you have plenty of incentive to explore Ginormosia, but doing so effectively will be difficult until you locate the various towers scattered about each region. There are 15 regions in Ginormosia, and each one has a tower. To dispel the fog of war obscuring each region, you need to locate its tower and interact with it, after which you’ll be able to see the map of that region clearly and the tower itself will become a handy-dandy fast travel point. The location of each tower is as follows:

(1 of 2) During the main quest objective “Investigate the Nearby Tower” you’ll find Googlina’s Tower.

West Dryridge Desert Tower Location - Googlina’s Tower

Googlina’s Tower is located near the northern shore of West Dryridge Desert, along the region’s western, crescent-shaped edge. You will find it automatically as part of the quest Investigate the Nearby Tower.

(1 of 2) Later on, during “Head Towards Skelegon” you’ll find Googlebert’s Tower.

East Dryridge Desert Tower Location - Googlbert’s Tower

Also somewhat near the northern shore and trending towards the western edge of his region (in this case, the East Dryridge Desert), you’ll find Googlbert’s Tower as part of the main quest objective Head Towards Skelegon during Chapter 2.

The location of Googlilock’s Tower on the map.

Viridia Plateau Tower Location - Googlilock’s Tower

This region is split unevenly into two distinct parts - the relatively flat grasslands making up the majority of the region, including the western and central bits, and the arid mountains to the east. This tower is nestled against the western edge of these mountains, right in the middle of the range.

South Greatgut Plains - Googlierre’s Tower

Another region consisting of two distinct parts, the northern boundary is formed by a river, and the elevation increases the further south you go, with the south and east being more mountainous than the north and west. Googlierre’s Tower is along the center-west of the region, in the grassy area overlooking the river valley below.

The location of Googlelot’s Tower on the map.

West Greatgut Plains - Googlelot’s Tower

Landmarks are a great tool, and the West Greatgut Plains has one of the more obvious landmarks in the entirety of Ginormosia - a massive, barrier-protected castle that occupies the center-east of the region. This tower is just southeast of the aforementioned Castle, on a hill just north of the road leading into the East Greatgut Plains.

The location of Googlius’s Tower on the map.

East Greatgut Plains - Googlius’s Tower

A large grassy region with a few landmarks that make navigation somewhat easy, this region has an island-filled lake in the center-north, and this tower is northwest of this lake. There’s also a large castle southwest of this tower, in the nearby West Greatgut Plains.

The location of Googlancia’s Tower on the map.

Pettlewing Woods - Googlancia’s Tower

The southernmost of three peninsulas along the northeastern edge of Ginormosia. Googlancia’s Tower is on the root of this peninsula, just southeast of some impassable woodlands that obstruct the center of this region.

The location of Googlithy’s Tower on the map.

Shroomhaven - Googlithy’s Tower

The middle of three peninsulas along the northeastern edge of Ginormosia. Like Pettlewing Woods, this peninsula has dense, impenetrable forests covering the western half of the region while the eastern edge is rocky and more elevated. This tower can be found on some high ground along the rocky eastern edge of the peninsula.

The location of Googloria’s Tower on the map.

Wingtip Valley - Googloria’s Tower

The northernmost of three peninsulas along the northeastern edge of Ginormosia, this tower is near the northeastern tip of said peninsula - just follow the road and you’ll find it.

The location of Googlisha’s Tower on the map.

Moltana Wastes - Googlisha’s Tower

The north-center of Ginormosia is dominated by a massive volcano, which spreads over two regions - the Moltana Wastes encompasses the eastern half of this volcano, and the northern half of this region is actively volcanic, with lava flows segmenting the area, while the southern half is just standard mountain terrain. This tower is along the west-center of this region, just south of the volcanic bits. You should be able to easily find this area by following a river that forms much of this region’s western border.

The location of Googlolly’s Tower on the map.

Scorchrock Mountain - Googlolly’s Tower

The dormant western half of the volcano that makes up the entirety of the neighboring Moltana Wastes region, Scorchrock Mountain’s eastern half is part of the aforementioned volcano while its western half is a grassy peninsula. Googlolly’s Tower is along the center of the grassy peninsula.

The location of Googlenette’s Tower on the map.

Crickneck Canyon - Googlenette’s Tower

A mountainous region northwest of the Greatgut Plains, only the southeastern edge is grassy, the rest being arid rock. Googlenette’s Tower is along the highest, northeasternmost edge of the region.

The location of Googlonardo’s Tower on the map.

Drakeseye Valley - Googlonardo’s Tower

Along the western edge of Ginormosia, this region has a mix of mountains, hilly grasslands and most notably a lake in the middle of the region from which four rivers flow to the east, southeast and south. Climb the mountains northwest of this lake to find Googlonardo’s Tower.

The location of Googlizabeth’s Tower on the map.

Drakesnout Range - Googlizabeth’s Tower

The westernmost region of Ginormosia, it comprises a mountain range that’s highest to the south, but runs north and dominates most of the western edge of the region, while grasslands can be found to the east. At the northern edge of these grasslands rests Googlizabeth’s Tower, near the river that forms the boundary between this region and Drakeseye Valley to the north.

The location of Googleph’s Tower on the map.

Fangshore Isles - Googleph’s Tower

An island - or rather a cluster of islands - cradled between several other regions - Drakesnout Range and Drakeseye Valley to the west, the Greatgut Plains to the east and Crickneck Canyon to the north. This tower is on what’s by far the largest of these islands, which is vaguely crescent-shaped. Search on the southern end of this cresence to find it.
