What is the First Kill of the Day Reward in Diablo Immortal?¶
Daily login bonuses are fairly common in free-to-play games, and Diablo Immortal is no exception. Got to keep you coming back and exposing you to their marketplace, and all. Being a Diablo game, however, merely showing up isn’t sufficient to earn a reward - you’ve got to spell some blood to earn any prizes here.
How to Earn the First Kill of the Day Reward in Diablo Immortal¶
Once you’ve booted up Diablo Immortal for the day, you’ll likely have a variety of daily activities to attend to (not to be confused with [Daily Activities], which actually is another category of rewards you’ll earn for completing various tasks and accumulating Battle Points), including Bounties, Dungeons, Elder Rifts and Challenge Rifts, to name a few. Invariably attempting these activities will lead to you having to put down some beast, demon, undead or ne’er-do-well (in fact, that’ll often be the goal of these activities. Kill your first enemy - whatever type of critter it is - and you’ll earn your Kill of the Day bonus.
To claim this reward, click on the bell icon above your activity log on the left-hand side of the screen and you should find some text informing you of your awaiting treasure. Click on the text and you’ll find yourself at the First Kill of the Day screen. You can also get there by opening the menu on the top right of the screen, and once the menu pops up you should spot a First Kill of the Day image to the bottom left.
As long as you make a kill in a day, you’ll be entitled to a reward. Generally this reward will improve over time, and your progress resets every week, so you’re rather incentivized to at least show up and smite one foe to ensure you keep making progress towards the day seven reward. If you make a kill but fail to claim your reward, the reward will be mailed to you, which is surprisingly generous.
