You’ll re-emerge off the ship and on a wooden jetty. Walk down and then into the cave where you’ll find a lift waiting. Step on the middle switch to send it upwards.

At the top, walk out and then check out the open cells and you’ll find a [Soul of a Proud Knight] and a [Lifegem] . Go into the steps-filled corridor and halfway up on the right there’s an open cell with some [Common Fruit] inside. A bit further up and on your left is an open cell with the Bonfire waiting.

When you reach outside you’ll spot another Heide Knight resting on the ground. Once again it’s an optional fight; but he will drop his [Heide Spear] if you manage to kill him.

Walk to the end of the platform and drop down into the broken part of the wall. Go right and carefully walk until you spot the corpse holding a [Soul of a Brave Warrior] and a [Human Effigy] . Go back through the wall and into the main courtyard area. Watch out for the multiple dogs and for the Undead Jailer standing on top of a wooden platform in front of you.

Just behind where the Undead Jailer was chilling; there’s a hard-to-spot pathway.

Head in here and you’ll find a metal chest at the end that contains an [Estus Flask Shard] and a [Large Titanite Shard] .

Go back out and head up the pathway to reach a dog and a locked gate. Pull the lever to open it and if you’ve already opened up the secret bonfire then you’ll realise that you’re back at McDuff’s workshop area! Nice!
