Red Scorpion Guard Spider

Description

A mid-tier variant of the Guard Scorpion, the Red Scorpion appears as the boss of Mission 3-3-2. In addition to the standard attacks utilized by these machines (melee claws, Shinra Type-100 Cannon, Super EM Field) it can use the Hyper Laser ability. Should you fail to interrupt it while it charges you’ll… be baffled by how weak this attack is. Seriously, it’s an order of magnitude weaker than its standard claw attack which, as usual, is the most damaging attack this enemy has in its arsenal. Makes you wonder why Shinra even bothered putting guns on these things… Just avoid frontal assaults and you should have no trouble whittling down this machine’s 186,000~ HP.
