Best Jake Perks in Multiversus

By
Craig Robinson

Jake, the dog, is one of the mainstay characters in Multiversus, bringing a new twist to the bruiser role. This character is also about knockbacks, disruption and other annoying forms of CC and prevention. While his skills are fairly simple, the perks are how to master Jake. Here are the best Jake perks in Mutliversus, along with some reasons why we deem them the best.

Best Jake Perks in Multiversus

The answer to this question largely depends on the playstyle you use and what combos you tend to perform. In our opinion, Jake has some pretty good aerial skills, with his air neutral and the skateboard being some key ways to get debuffs and maintain combos in the air. You will find that enemies are constantly knocked back with Jake, so getting an enemy in the air and comboing them to the sky is largely a solid strategy.

Therefore, the best Jake perks in Mutliversus for an aerial knockout strategy are as follows:

Best Perks for Jake in Multiversus Description Slot
Sticky Enemies that touch Jake while he’s stretching are briefly stunned, making them easier to hit with his buns. Signature Perk
Lumpy Space Punch Your team deals 5% increased damage with melee attacks in the air. Offense Perk
Triple Jump Your team receives an extra jump after hitting an enemy in the air. Utility Perk

The reasons for these four perks are fairly simple. The Sticky Signature perk is a nice addition of applying a stun lock to enemies, ith then allows the buns to launch enemies into the air, or you can easily land a special down to slap them into the floor and bounce them into the air. It is a decent combo to reset and switch into an aerial combo, all thanks to the signature’s stun.

Moreso, we recommend the Lumpy Space Punch perk, thanks to several of Jake’s perks designed for aerial combos. This will naturally benefit your skills like air neutral, mace hand uppercuts while in the air, and the charged stretch arm if you need to use it. You then want to combine it with Triple Jump since you can extend your aerial uppercuts, knock someone into the skybox, and get a kill that way.

Using the skateboard allows you to jump into the air, and perform two neutrals to keep them in the air, followed by the three uppercut air attacks. This is another combo which allows you to make the most out of the three basic perks we have chosen. For reasons like these, we consider these to be the best Jake Perks in Multiversus.
