Best Finn Perks in Multiversus

By
Craig Robinson

Finn is the most broken, hitbox-abusing character in Multiversus. And worse is the fact that Finn can become even more obnoxious thanks to the perk system. So, if you want to really dominate your opponent with as much prowess as possible, you want to think about perks. Here are the best Finn perks in Multiversus.

Best Finn Perks in Multiversus

When you’re leveling, you want to use the perks that you naturally unlock as time goes on. However, when you reach level 9, you can start training perks. That means you can buy perks to use on your characters. This is where you can buy perks that normally belong to the characters in the game, and use them on Finn instead. When that becomes available, you want to use the following base perks, alongside the signature perk:

2V2 Build

Best Perks for Finn Description Slot
On The House Generate a free gem after connecting a fully charged ground attack Signature Perk
Triple Jump Your team receives an extra jump after hitting an enemy while in the air Utility Perk
Tasmanian Trigonometry Your team receives 15% increased base knockback influence. Utility Perk

This set of perks is ideal for 2v2 situations. The reason is that Finn’s clap, when used with an ally, counts as a ground-charged attack. Plus, it counts as a projectile, meaning you get the added DPS of those ranged perks. You can then easily follow it up with a combo via a triple jump and get a kill using your coin purse-up special skill.

The other thing worth mentioning is Tasmanian Trigonometry. This acts as a defensive perk, making it easier to control yourself when you get hit back. It’s a preferred option for most higher-end players rather than using a dash perk.

This set of perks is typically how most Finn’s play the game nowadays and is arguuably the most competitive method of playing Finn in MultiVersus.

1V1 build

Best Perks for Finn Description Slot
Going out of business All the items in Finn’s shop are discounted by 200 gold for ten seconds after Finn’s ally is rung out. The discount is permanent after Finn reaches 100 damage. Signature
Wildcat Brawler Your team deals 5% increased damage with melee attacks on the ground. Offence Perk
Boundless Energy Your team receives 10% faster dodge invulnerability recharge. Defence Perk
Last Stand Your team deals 10% increased damage after reaching 100 damage. Utility Perk

The reasons for these perks are fairly simple. The signature perk allows Finn to get his movement speed buffs much easier, which is key for gap closing, and escaping enemies. Not to mention spending less gold on the store means more gold for your powerful special attacks.

Meanwhile, the three basic perks are chosen for a few reasons. The first is because Finn has some strong, quick attacks with the sword on the ground. It is very easy to catch people off guard with the extended hitbox on the sword, and easy to chain while on the ground. The other option is Boundless Energy. The reason for that perk is because Assassins take increased damage, so having more opportunities to dodge is better for Finn’s survivability. Lastly, we have Last Stand. Last Stand means Finn does more damage when he gets to 100 HP. Combine that with lots of coins special move on the ground, and you will really hurt an opponent as you build your perks and gold to something truly monstrous.

There are a few exceptions to these best Finn perks in Multiversus. For example, you may want to take the Speed Force Assist to make Fin faster if you prefer the quicker playstyle. It’s also a decent option if you play with characters like Garnet or Velma, who like speed. You can also opt for air perks that buff your air capabilities if you’re dealing with more vertical foes, similarly to Harley Quinn’s perks. Adapting with your perks during a match is just as good as following the cookie-cutter options mentioned above.
