Getting 100%, which is required for this trophy/achievement, in San Andreas is no easy feat, as there is a lot of things you will need to do. If you need a list of all the things that need to be done, then visit the What’s Needed for 100%? page. |

This trophy/achievement is tied to Remastered, as you will first need to get 100% on a save file. Once you do that, choose to start a New Game on another save file to unlock this. |

I Ain't No BusterUnlock all trophies. |
0.10% Ultra Rare | ||
This is the Platinum Trophy for the Playstation versions of the game. Most of the trophies involve doing something for 100%, which is another trophy, so the majority of things will be done as you work on that. There are also a few miscellaneous trophies that don’t involve 100%, none of which are particularly difficult, though. It’s important to know that cheats will disable trophies, so you will have to do everything legit. It’s not a particularly difficult platinum, but it can be a little grindy and time-consuming, because of that 100% trophy. |
|||
Swiss Army StrifeMax all weapon skills. |
0.20% Ultra Rare | ||
As you use the various firearms in the game, you will become more proficient in using them. This is similar to your Driving Skill, Bike Skill, and other things. Weapons that can be improved via using them have two different levels, Gangster and Hitman, with Hitman being achieved at 100% skill level. Overall, improvements include being able to move while using this, and in the cases of some weapons, being able to dual wield them. The weapons in the game that allow you to level them up are as follows:
Note that the rifles and heavier weapons don’t have any weapon skill at all. Get all of the above weapons to Hitman level to get the trophy/achievement. Remember that you have to hit targets with shots in order for it to contribute to your weapon skill. Headshots increase level more, so you should always be aiming for those, if you can. It is best to work on increasing these whenever you are doing the turf wars, as you will be killing a lot of enemies then. |
|||
Chick MagnetAchieve maximum sex appeal. |
0.20% Ultra Rare | ||
Sex Appeal is a stat that you can increase through actions in the game, which allow you to change your interactions with the female NPCs in the game, with a big part being the Girlfriends. However, unlike some of the stats in the game, you may notice that Sex Appeal can jump around a lot, as it isn’t one that you can steadily increase or decrease to have it permanent. The reason for this is that there are certain factors that change Sex Appeal, such as the clothes you’re wearing, the car you’re driving, and other appearance-related things. Generally, you will want a sports car, as well as the most expensive clothes, which are available at Didier Sachs. Note that the car’s condition also has a factor, and there is a radius around the vehicle that maintains the Sex Appeal boost. You will need to max out the Sex Appeal bar to unlock this trophy/achievement. |
|||
A Legitimate BusinessExport all three car lists. |
0.20% Ultra Rare | ||
After completing the mission, Customs Fast Track, in San Fierro, you will unlock the ability to do the Exports and Imports side activity. This entails finding specific vehicles to bring to a cargo ship at Easter Basin, San Fierro. You will need to either use a crane to lift the vehicle onto the ship, or you can simply try to drive it on yourself, if the vehicle is small enough. There will be a list on the docks, showing the vehicles that are wanted, with there being three lists in total. That means you have to deliver 30 vehicles in total, and this side activity is needed for 100%, so if you’re going for that, then this will come naturally. |
|||
Public Enemy No. 1Reach 6 wanted stars. |
0.50% Ultra Rare | ||
Whenever you do something illegal, especially in the vicinity of a police officer, you will get a wanted level. If you’ve played a GTA game before, you know that the Wanted Level can go up to six stars, with each star yielding a more threatening law enforcement presence. Normally, getting to six stars by itself is quite the endeavor, as the FBI and heavier presence from four stars onward can be tough to evade. However, there is a surefire way to go from zero stars to five in an instant, while also procuring a way to make it easier to not die and get that final sixth star. South of the Verdant Meadows airfield, which you will acquire during the main story missions, is a government base called Area 69. Simply entering the compound will give you an automatic five stars, which means that you are going to have a lot of law enforcement on you. To get into the compound, there is a breakable fence on the southern side. Towards the northern side, there is a little hangar that will have a Rhino underneath it, which is a perfect opportunity for “borrowing” it. From there, you can simply drive to Las Venturas to cause enough mayhem to get that final star. |

What the City NeedsComplete 12 levels of Vigilante. |
0.70% Ultra Rare | ||
As with GTA games prior to San Andreas, you can participate with side missions that involve vehicles. One such example is the Vigilante mission, which allows you to take a law enforcement vehicle and pursue criminals. To start it, get in one of the appropriate vehicles and press the right analog stick in. Doing this will start a timer and spawn a criminal randomly in the area you’re residing. You will have to kill the criminals you chase, which can also draw the ire of the police themselves, to come after you. If you get out of the vehicle or if your current one is destroyed, you have 60 seconds to find a new police vehicle to continue. Things will get more difficult as you reach higher levels, as there will be more criminals and they will begin carrying more powerful weapons. You will need to complete all 12 levels in a single sitting, though, in order to get this trophy/achievement. Your reward for doing this is a 50% increase to your maximum armor, which helps out a lot during missions. The only problem is that the better vehicles for it don’t appear until later. If you wait until completing Flying School with all Gold on the tests, then you can have a Hunter spawn at Verdant Meadows. Note that either that or the Leviathan can spawn in that spot, so if you want the Hunter, come in from the west. |

They Can’t Stop All of UsSneak into the underground base without setting off the alarm above ground during "Black Project". |
1.00% Ultra Rare | ||
Missable. This is another trophy/achievement that involves doing a specific thing during a story mission and since you can’t replay missions, then you will have one chance to do it. The mission in question is Black Project, where you must infiltrate a secret underground government base, but there’s a large above ground base to sneak around in to get to the former. In order to get this trophy/achievement, you will need to infiltrate the underground base without setting off the alarm above ground. As the game points out to you, there are spotlights and if you shoot more than two of them, then you will set off the alarm. Additionally, there are many guards around the compound, which complicates things a lot more. The main objective when you first arrive at the compound is to get inside, of course, but the game points out some blast doors that are controlled by a switch on the one side of the compound. You should only bother with any spotlights that are in the way of the switch, but remember to not hit more than two. If you have the Silenced Pistol (can purchase it from Ammu-Nation), then use it to kill the guards in your way and avoid the others, if you can help it. Should an alarm get raised, then you will have to reset a recent save and try again. Once you make it into the underground base, you will get this. Note that the alarm will automatically go off while in the underground portion. |
|||
Original GangsterReach maximum respect. |
1.00% Ultra Rare | ||
Respect is a statistic that represents how your fellow gang members look at you in the game. As you gain more Respect, you will be able to recruit more gang members to join you while doing a mission or something else. The majority of the missions in the game will reward you with some Respect, but it isn’t enough to actually max out the bar and get the maximum Respect for this trophy/achievement. Upon completing the mission Doberman, you will unlock turf wars, which allows you to take over rival gang territories. These will be represented as colored sections on the map, with purple being Ballas and yellow being Vagos. Taking over these enemy territories provides the biggest boost to your Respect, since you get the bonus for the actual territory, but also from killing the gang members, too. It is best to do these alone and not recruit fellow gang members, since them dying has a negative impact on gaining Respect. You also gain some for killing law enforcement, so going on a rampage against the police can also be helpful, especially when you gain access to something like a Rhino or Hunter later on in the game. Buying expensive clothes can also help, so a place like Didier Sachs is ideal for this. |
|||
The End of the LineComplete "End of the Line". |
1.00% Ultra Rare | ||
Story-related trophy/achievement. End of the Line is the final story mission in the game and one of the more challenging ones. You should be going into this mission with a lot of firepower in your arsenal, as well as full health and body armor. For a more in-depth look, visit the End of the Line mission page. |
|||
Double or Nothin'Put all your money or the maximum bet on red or black and win. |
1.10% Ultra Rare | ||
This is another trophy/achievement that involves gambling, although you won’t be able to get it until you reach Las Venturas. Once you do, you will be able to visit a casino, and subsequently, the roulette tables. With access to those, go to one of them and bet the maximum bet on either red or black. Keep doing this until you win from either of the bets, which will unlock this. |
|||
Yes I Speak EnglishReach 50 fares in Taxi Mode. |
1.20% Ultra Rare | ||
As with GTA games prior to San Andreas, you can participate with side missions that involve vehicles. The Taxi mission will have you picking up people and bring them to their destination. When you are doing this, you will see a bar appear on your screen, which will deplete slow and quickly, depending on how close the destination is located. Bring the client to their desired spot with the bar in tact to get some extra cash. If it empties, then you won’t get any bonuses. In order to get the trophy/achievement, you will need to complete 50 fares, although it doesn’t have to be all at once. This makes it the easiest trophy related to a vehicle mission, since you can do it over time. Your in-game reward for doing this is every taxi you use will have the ability to jump, as well as unlimited nitro. |
|||
Bike or BikerComplete BMX or NRG challenge. |
1.20% Ultra Rare | ||
There are two challenges that you will unlock as you progress through the game, both of which take place on types of bikes. Both require you to pass through a number of checkpoints, with each one adding more time to your overall timer. The BMX Challenge is unlocked at the beginning of the game, and can be found by climbing onto the bike sitting at the skate park just south of Glen Park. The NRG Challenge is found by getting on the bike at Easter Basin in San Fierro. For both, you will want to get their respective skills up higher before attempting them. If you’re going for 100%, then you will need to do both, as they are required. |
|||
Who Needs Directions?Find Mike Toreno without any of the referenced locations during "Mike Toreno". |
1.60% Ultra Rare | ||
Missable. During the mission named Mike Toreno, you will have to hurry up and try to find Toreno using his clues, which will take you to two locations before the real one. In order to get this trophy/achievement, you will need to skip those two sites and drive straight to the airport, which is where Mike Toreno is being held. Since the game doesn’t feature a mission replay of any kind, you only have one chance during the mission to get this trophy/achievement. If you miss it, then you will either need to reload a save before the mission or play through the game again. |
|||
Hoopin' it UpScore at least 30 points in the basketball mini-game. |
1.60% Ultra Rare | ||
You will be able to play the basketball mini-game after completing Tagging Up Turf near the beginning of the game. There are a number of basketball courts in the game, where you can simply pick up the basketball there to start playing. While you have the basketball in your hands, press the button indicated on your screen to start Challenge Mode. A marker will appear and if you make a basket from that marker, you will score points. The biggest tip in making baskets is to release the button at the peak of your jump. You will be timed while playing basketball and as you score points, the marker will move around and the shots will become more challenging. You need to score a total of 30 points in one session for this trophy/achievement, which can be a little challenging, since you only score 1 point for the first few shots, then 2 for all others. Some of the later shots can be tricky, though, since they are far from the basket and if you miss, you will need to run to pick the ball back up quickly to try another shot from the same spot. Also, it’s important to know that only the bigger courts will allow you to start the challenge, as the one outside Sweet’s house doesn’t work. There is one in Playa Del Seville, behind the barber shop, as well as another in East Los Santos. |
|||
Liberty City State of MindComplete the "Saint Mark's Bistro" mission. |
1.80% Ultra Rare | ||
Story-related trophy/achievement. Saint Mark’s Bistro is a mission you will have to do in the latter portion of the main story. In fact, it will likely be the final mission you do before reaching the final set of missions in the game. |
|||
I’ll Have Two Number 9sReach maximum weight. |
1.80% Ultra Rare | ||
AssassinStealth kill all enemies in the mission "Madd Dogg's Rhymes". |
2.00% Ultra Rare | ||
Missable. During the story mission, Madd Dogg’s Rhymes, you will infiltrate Madd Dogg’s mansion and have to steal his lyrics for OG Loc. It is during this mission that you will be introduced to the stealth mechanic. Basically, you push in the left analog to crouch, sneak up behind an NPC that hasn’t seen you while equipping a melee weapon, target them and attack. If done right, you will instantly kill the enemy. In order to get this trophy/achievement, you will need to stealth kill all of the enemies during the mission. That means if you are seen at all, then you will have to either replay the game up to this mission, or reset an earlier save. The first couple of stealth kills in the mansion are given to you through some tutorials, but after that, you will be on your own. Once you reach the bar area, you should ignore the two enemies in there and continue to the next area. There will be another guard here, right before being able to grab the rhymes, but you can get the jump on him by sneaking through the room with the armor pickup in it. As soon as you grab the rhymes, some more enemies will spawn inside the mansion as you retrace your steps to escape. At this point, hide in the nearby dark room and wait for the one guard to come through, before stealth killing him. He should drop a Silenced Pistol, which you can use to kill the rest of the enemies with headshots. Be mindful of the two enemies moving about after the bar area, as you don’t want them to see you. The trophy/achievement will pop after leaving the mansion, should none of the guards saw you. |
|||
Rescue a Kitten Too?Complete 12 levels of Firefighter. |
2.80% Ultra Rare | ||
As with GTA games prior to San Andreas, you can participate with side missions that involve vehicles. The Firefighter mission requires you to use a Firetruck to put out fires. As you delve deeper into the levels, you will not only have to put car fires out, but also people as well that get out of the burning vehicles. As with the other vehicle missions, you do need to complete all 12 levels in a single sitting. There is no perfect place to do this, as with something like the Paramedic one, but you want to look at a more flat area, since the Firetruck is very prone to flipping over on tight turns. Your reward from completing all 12 levels is becoming fireproof, although explosions will still hurt you. |
|||
SaviourComplete 12 levels of Paramedic. |
3.20% Ultra Rare | ||
As with GTA games prior to San Andreas, you can participate with side missions that involve vehicles. The Paramedic side mission will require you to use an Ambulance to pick up patients and drive them to a hospital. For each level you advance while doing this, another patient will be added, meaning at level 12, you will have to pick up twelve patients to complete it. Thankfully, each Ambulance is able to hold up to four passengers, so it makes things a little easier in the long run. Your reward for completing level 12 is a boost to your maximum health. However, you will need to drive very carefully, as bumping into objects might cause harm to the patients and if a single one dies while in your care, then you will fail. Likewise, you have to be careful with the vehicle, as getting out of it will reset your progress, and you won’t be able to repair the Ambulance, due to the Pay ‘n’ Spray not being able to take it. The easiest spot to do the Paramedic mission is in Angel Pine, which is located in the southwest portion of the whole map. None of the patients will ever show up outside of Angel Pine. |
|||
What are the OddsWin a race in Inside Track Betting. |
3.70% Ultra Rare | ||
Gambling can be one of the better ways to get some money in San Andreas and one of the places you can go for this is called Inside Track Betting. As the name suggests, this is a place you can go to bet on horse races. There are only two Inside Track locations in the game, one of which is in Downtown Los Santos, underneath the Mulholland Intersection. The other one is located in Montgomery, Red County, which is north of Los Santos. All you have to do is win any bet you make, with the minimum amount needed for a bet being $5. It’s a good idea to bet on the horse with the best odds (2 to 1, for example) if you’re just looking to get the trophy/achievement. |
|||
What happens in Las Venturas...Complete "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom". |
5.50% Very Rare | ||
Story-related trophy/achievement. You will unlock this after completing Yay Ka-Boom-Boom, which is the final story mission in San Fierro. This mission isn’t too bad, although you will have to kill a bunch of enemies. As long as you take your time and kill the enemies before driving forward with the bombed car, then you will have no trouble. |
|||
Horror of the Santa MariaDrown. |
7.80% Very Rare | ||
San Andreas is the first game in the series that allows you to swim with your character, meaning that water isn’t instant death like in the previous ones. You can also dive underwater, which is done by pressing Circle (PS4)/B (Xbox)/A (Switch). Of course, you can only stay underwater for so long, as you have a breath meter, which will be located underneath your health and armor. In order to get this trophy/achievement, you have to drown, so stay underwater until your breath meter is gone, which will then cause your health to decrease. Once all of your health is gone, you will drown. |
|||
School's OutFully complete a vehicle school. |
8.70% Very Rare | ||
As you play through the game, you will encounter schools for the various types of vehicles you can drive. There is a school for Driving, Boating, Biking, and Flying, with each one offering tutorials on various mechanics regarding the type of vehicle. During the course of the main story, you will have to do the Flying School in order to progress, so that means you cannot miss this trophy/achievement at all. Note that you only need to get a Bronze medal in order to pass the school, so there is no need to worry about getting Gold in any of the tests. All getting Gold does is spawn an extra vehicle or two for you to use outside of the respective school. Note that getting Bronze on all of the tests for each school is required for 100%, so even if the Flying School wasn’t required for the story, this would be unmissable if you were going for 100%. |
|||
With Extra DipBuy 8 meals from Cluckin' Bell throughout the game. |
8.80% Very Rare | ||
Cluckin’ Bell is one of the restaurants in the game, in which you can visit and order food. It is shown on your map as a chicken head. As you eat food, CJ will gain fat, which is always useful to have some. The meals you can purchase from the fast food place will give you varying amounts of fat, with the more expensive ones being more rich. To get this trophy/achievement, you only need to purchase 8 meals from the Cluckin’ Bell throughout the entirety of the game. The best thing to do is simply go here whenever you need some fat, until you unlock this, as you will always want some fat for CJ. If you don’t have fat on him, then you will lose muscle instead and you might not want that to happen. Each meal contributes a different amount of fat to CJ, with the more expensive the meal, the more fat he will get. The $10 meal will add 3% fat to CJ, so you will know how much he gets. You can check your stats on the pause menu to see how much Fat CJ currently has. Also, if you eat too much meals at once (more than 10 within a 24 hours period), then CJ will vomit all of the food he ate, with his fat returning to its amount before you started eating that day. At the start of the game, you can head to the nearest Cluckin’ Bell and purchase eight of the cheapest meal to unlock this very easily. |
|||
The American DreamPurchase any house. |
11.30% Rare | ||
In addition to your starting house on Grove Street, you are able to purchase additional safehouses in the world. There are six you can purchase in Los Santos alone, although one or two might be a bit too expensive for your taste at that point in the game. The other four, though, cost $10,000 each, which is perfectly reasonable, especially once you unlock the Gang Warfare and can earn a little bit of money before the end of the Los Santos missions. Safehouses you can purchase are shown as a little green house icon on your map. There are more safehouses later and while they might be a little more expensive, you should have more money by then, too. |
|||
Smooth MovesPerform a perfect dance routine. |
16.00% Rare | ||
One of the mini-games you can do in San Andreas is a dancing one. You will actually have to perform one of these during the mission, Life’s a Beach, but you can also do this in various nightclubs around the map. There is one club in each of the three major cities, so you can visit the one in Los Santos from the very beginning of the game. Dancing is a rhythm mini-game, where you need to push the Directional Pad in the direction given, whenever it passes the circle at the bottom of your screen. You will be given a score, depending on how well-timed you press the button as it passes through the circle, with you either getting “Perfect,” “Good” or “Bad.” In order to unlock this trophy/achievement, you will need to make sure that you simply don’t miss any of the inputs given to you. That means you can’t miss a single input, so if you see a “Bad,” then you will need to try again. |
|||
All Dressed Up for San FierroComplete "The Green Sabre". |
16.60% Rare | ||
Story-related trophy/achievement. You will unlock this after completing The Green Sabre, which is the final mission in Los Santos at the beginning of the game. It is a pretty straightforward mission and you really shouldn’t be having any trouble with it at all. |
|||
Today Was a Good DayGo 24 hours (in game) without breaking the law, being wanted, killing or harming anyone. |
16.80% Rare | ||
Being a good person in a Grand Theft Auto game can be challenging, but in order to get this trophy/achievement, you will need to do just that. For 24 hours in-game, you will need to go without breaking the law, being wanted, killing anyone, nor harming anyone. Since you can’t really do anything like missions, as most of them involve doing one of the above, the best thing to do is just sit still and do nothing. It’s a good idea to have some fat on CJ for this, just in case. |
|||
Pay 'n' SprayUse a Pay 'n' Spray with wanted level. |
50.10% Common | ||
In order to get this trophy/achievement, you will need to use a Pay ‘n’ Spray whenever you have a wanted level. When you do something in the vicinity of the police, you will get a wanted level, which will cause them to come after you to either arrest you, or if you did a lot of bad things, kill you. One way to get rid of your wanted level is to use a Pay ‘n’ Spray, which are shown as spray cans on your map. These will remove all of your wanted level, no matter how high, but the stars will be flashing after using one. If you commit a crime while they are flashing, then your full wanted level from before using the Pay ‘n’ Spray will be reinstated. After a minute or so with them flashing, the wanted level will go away. You don’t need to do the latter, but simply using the Pay ‘n’ Spray will unlock this. In fact, you should get this during some of the early missions, since they will require you to use the Pay ‘n’ Spray as an actual objective. |
|||
Getting StartedComplete "Big Smoke". |
83.20% Common | ||
Story-related trophy/achievement. This is one of the first trophies/achievement you will unlock in the game, as Big Smoke is the first actual mission you will do after the initial prologue stuff. |
