Description

Medium Armour offers increased protection compared to Light Armour Proficiency, albeit at the cost of reduced mobility. When donning Medium Armour, your Armor Class (AC) equals the base AC of the armour added to your Dexterity Modifier. It’s important to note that the Dexterity Modifier’s contribution to AC is capped at +2 for Medium Armour.

Medium Armour Proficiency:

Medium Armour Proficiency is granted to certain classes and races:

Classes with Medium Armour Proficiency (Level 1):

• Barbarian
• Bard (Valor) Only
• Cleric
• Druid
• Fighter
• Ranger

Races with Medium Armour Proficiency:

• Dwarf (Shield dwarf)
• Githyanki

Additionally, gaining the Moderately Armoured Feat provides Medium Armour Proficiency, along with Shield Proficiency.
