Description

The Jolty Vest is an uncommon form of medium armor renowned for its ability to release shocking energy upon enemies who strike the wearer while Lightning Charges are active. The nickname “Yrre the Sparkstruck” was attributed to an individual who possessed an intense fascination with lightning, as well as the inventive creations they developed—frequently leading to unexpected electrocutions of both themselves and unsuspecting onlookers.

Effects/Special Abilities

The wearer of this item gains:

• Superior Material: You take 1 less Slashing damage.
• Countershock: When the wearer takes damage while having Lightning Charges, the attacker must succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw or become Shocked.
• Important Note: This effect only occurs when taking damage in melee.
• AC bonus from Dexterity limited to +2
