Description

Voltatia the Power Master is a Level 77 V Blood Carrier located in the Trancendum Power Plant in Gloomrot North. As the trusted right hand of Doctor Henry Blackbrew, Voltatia is responsible for the maintenance and protection of the entire electric pipeline of Gloomrot. Known for her stern professionalism and psychotic efficiency, she is crucial in keeping The Doctor’s operation running smoothly. Defeating Voltatia grants players a Tier 2 Spell Point, along with spells such as Polarity Shift, Veil of Storm, and Lightning Curtain. Additionally, players unlock recipes for items like the Power Core and EMP.

During the fight, Voltatia employs a variety of electrically charged attacks. In Phase 1, she uses the Electro Ray, a tracking beam attack best sidestepped, and the Electro Shotgun, which can be countered or blocked. She also teleports and generates an Electric Dome for repositioning. In Phase 2, she summons minions and sets up a Lightning Curtain to block projectiles. Phase 3 introduces her clone, doubling the challenge, and in Phase 4, she activates a device that throws ricocheting electric discs. Players must use a combination of movement, defensive abilities, and strategic attacks to overcome her, with emphasis on side-stepping, parrying, and maintaining offensive pressure to swiftly end the fight.

Abilities

Phase 1 (100%-81%):

• Electro Ray: Voltatia charges her cannon for 1.5s, then fires a tracking beam for 2.5-3s.
• Strategy: Side-step the beam. Parry spells such as Blood Rite or shield spells like Ward of the Damned won’t fully mitigate the damage. Use absorption spells like Ice Block if needed.
• Electro Shotgun: Voltatia fires a cone of bullets at close range.
• Strategy: Side-step, parry with Blood Rite, block with Ward of the Damned, or absorb with Ice Block.
• Teleport: Voltatia teleports to a new location.
• Strategy: Use Polarity Shift to stay close if desired.
• Electric Dome: Voltatia generates a dome of electricity, turning invisible and repositioning.
• Strategy: Use the brief immobile moment to deal extra damage with spells like Void or Corrupted Skull.

Phase 2 (80%-61%):

• Minion Summon: Voltatia summons 2 Railgunners.
• Strategy: Keep moving and use offensive spells to take them out.
• Lightning Curtain: Voltatia places an electric fence and stands behind it to use her Electro Ray.
• Strategy: Use target area spells like Void or walk around/dash through the fence to deal damage.

Phase 3 (60%-41%):

• Clone: Voltatia creates a clone, resulting in two Voltatias attacking simultaneously.
• Strategy: Use side-stepping, spells, and melee attacks. Utilize abilities like Camouflage from Sanguine Slashers for repositioning. Use Veil of Chaos for double dodging and Potion of Rage and Witch Potion for increased damage and shield.

Phase 4 (40%-0%):

• Electro Disc: Voltatia throws ricocheting electric discs.
• Strategy: Use a combination of side-stepping, parry, and dodge. Move into the wave of discs to get close to Voltatia and attack.
