MISCELLANEOUS QUESTS

Kill the bandit leader located at Valtheim Keep

To get this miscellaneous quest go talk to the innkeeper Mralki and ask him for leads on work. He’ll give you this bounty letter from the Jarl’s men (which is likely a radiant quest). Valtheim Keep is located to the east of Whiterun. Head over there and take out the bandits (and bandit chief) that you find. You’ll need to collect your reward from Whiterun’s steward, Proventus Avenicci, to complete this and gain your 100 gold reward.

Talk to Mralki about Erik

Out working in the fields you’ll find Erik, who wants to be an adventurer like you, but his dad won’t let him. He wants you to talk to his dad for him. His dad Mralki runs the inn, so go see him and either persuade, intimidate, or spend some money to convince him to let his son do as he wishes. Return to Erik and tell him the good news to finish this misc. quest.
