My Dear, Devoted and Faithful Subjects!
We, Sigismund of the House of Luxembourg, King of Hungary and Croatia and Elector of Brandenburg, do entitle the bearer of this writ to be received with Our blessing upon his arrival in Trencsén. Do not harm him, as he acts in Our Royal Name. We hereby order the bridge over the Teplitz River to be guarded where crossed by the southern route to Eulau, by this loyal miles servientes equo.
For the necessary redress of harm to Our servant and his milites, let the pedagium de facto on the bridge be provided. With all this, We entrust the Burgrave of Trencsén to handle this in honour to Our Royal Majesty.
