The most honourable man and commander of the military camp by 
Kuttenberg, the noble lord Grozav of Borumlaca, hereby confirms by this letter that he has received the sum of six threescores from the cuman Chertan, and is therefore obliged to pay his debt duly.
The noble lord of Borumlaca further promises that he will not use any goods or cattle to repay his debt, in return for which the cuman Chertan has promised not to sell the note and not to mention its existence.
