To the esteemed Lord Peter of Pisek
I would not like to depart this world without informing you of a matter that greatly troubles me. I recently visited the old hunting lodge near 
Bylany and was deeply dismayed by its deplorable condition. Once a beautiful and cozy building, where you yourself were a frequent guest, it is now left to the mercy of wild animals, overgrown and falling into ruin. I earnestly ask you, if you care at all about the memories of our shared youth, to reach out to the new owner, the monastic authority, to arrange for its restoration.
