Brittle Quartzite Shard Natural Resources
Description
- A nugget that seems useful for one thing: upgrading weapons.
This is typically an item you can mine that allows the player to use items in the Smithing Station, along with constructing the 
Brittle Whetstone.
How to Find this Item
This item is a fairly rare find, but typically is visible in the harder to reach portions of the tier 1 map areas. The examples of these include the Red Anthill, along with the storage rooms of early game labs.
Upon finding a block of the Brittle Quartzite, you will need to equip a tier one hammer at minimum and begin to hit the rock until it breaks. You will then be able to loot the 
Brittle Quartzite Shards.
Examples of areas where you can find Brittle Quartzite shards in the grasslands area are:
- Hamster cave
- Red Anthill
- Old Anthill (near the oak tree lab)
Larva cave
These are also the most common you’ll find in some early game lab storage areas, and you can also get more of these by hitting higher tier quartzite rocks too.
