Orchid Mantis Angry

Description

A swift, sleek assassin found lurking in a flower pot. Resembles a flower with a taste for blood. Drops mantis claw, mantis chunk, and mantis head.

The Orchid Mantis is one of the toughest enemies in the game. It is reccomended to have the best weapons and armor before attempting this fight. Preperation is key.

Notes: This boss is stunnable, although it appears to be quite unlikely.

How to Find this Creature

In the Upper Grasslands you can use the Samsquanch Dirt Bike, to access the deck area. After climbing the Dirt Bike, head west until you reach a green hose pipe and giant flower pot. Climb the hose pipe and head inside the flower pot to access the Boss Layer. You will need the special Orchid Kebab recipe, which can be crafted using an oven to summon this Tier IV boss enemy.

Defeating this boss will unlock the Apex Predator Mutation

Apex Predeator: You’ve become the strongest creature in the backyard, and are able to bring out the hidden strength in weapons made from bosses.
